Realth Magnets Bar Rare Earth Magnetic Rectangular Magnet for Research Industrial Purposes Educational

These are some really strong rare earth magnets and exactly what I had been hoping for to use in some projects. At nearly 2" long these pack a great amount of hold power which works for my needs: I 3D printed a mounting block for 1 of these, with 2 screws to mount it, and I'm using them on the lids of the covers on our nesting boxes. This way I can lift the lid, and the magnet then holds the lid open when it reaches a metal bar I mounted above. This keeps my hands free without any hook or other options that might be hard to manage if I'm all gloved up for winter work. My lids weigh just a few pounds each so one magnet per is easily able to hold them. I did print a very thing layer on top of the mount covering the magnet to not allow the magnet to 'thunk' directly to the metal bar. While these are strong they aren't super durable so watch how they will be used.

Wow, these magnets really grip. If you get them stuck together, slide them apart because it'll be very hard to pull them apart. Small and tough. These are great for crafts, science projects and will definitely hold stuff to the refrigerator door!

These are very strong bar magnets. They work great for holding up heavier items on my fridge. I like that they are reasonably thick, which will reduce the chance they will break in half.I took 1 start off my review as several of mine had noticeable imperfections on the coating (see the photo). If you don't care about how they look, this shouldn't matter.

Upfront disclosure: I received these through the Amazon Vine program for review.I am a scientist and an educator, so you would think I am crazy about magnets, but it is actually my wife who really adores them. However these were not purchased for goofing off (like most of the magnets we buy). It was bought specifically to use on my wife's greenhouse. She converted an old metal gazebo into a green house. But where we live adhesives struggle to survive the sun and heat. So she decided to switch to magnets to hold the sheeting onto the frame. With these she was able to affix the sheeting and it stays in place nicely. These are quite strong and will hold onto steel very well. I did not test them to see how much weight or force they can take, but they are doing the job she wanted them for quite nicely. As always with neodymium magnets, caution should always be used when placing and moving them. I have pinched my skin many times with similar magnets, so I have learned to be cautious and I like others to benefit from my mistakes. These are great magnets and will do a wonderful job holding things in place. If you need some high strength but relatively small magnets, these are an excellent choice.

These Realth Earth Magnets, rectangular in shape, are SUPER STRONG. work great to help place items on the refrigerator, white board, and metal surfaces. I picked these up to help hold clipper blades when not in use.Add a little double sided tape if you want to stick it to a non metallic surface. Then place the object you want it to hold. These are not too large and hold an object much heavier than itself.

I started gardening this year so I'm always conducting experiments to improve plant growth. I heard that magnetism has a very significant positive effect on plant growth so I decided to try these to see if it's true. So far I've observed higher germination rate since using these magnets so it seems they work well for my purpose. I'm very happy with these.

My weather station recently stopped measuring rain, so I needed to take it down in order to trouble shoot it (it had a spider web wrapped around the rain sensor). I had a very difficult time removing the weather station from the mount and ended up knocking it into the neighbors yard. She is very ill and her back yard is a jungle, so she wouldn't answer the door and I couldn't get through the jungle to get to the weather station. I ended up having to remove boards from my fence to get to it. As you can guess, I was very unhappy with this situation and wanted a better mounting solution for this weather station. I decided to mount the weather station to a steel plate, then stick the plate to my metal shed with magnets - but the magnets needed to be STRONG for this to not just fall off with some wind. It's heaving and it has leverage pulling at an angle against the mount point. These magnets did the trick, for sure. Pulling straight down on the weather station, the metal on the shed flexes, but the magnets won't release - I'd probably need to put 50 lbs of down pressure to pop it off, and I don't see nature doing that. If I need to troubleshoot it again, I can just slide it sideways off the magnets. Perfect solution to a very annoying problem.

This magnet size is perfect! Strong and durable, able to hold items solidly for refrigerator magnets. Keep the calendar in place and set on the right month with ease. Strong enough that the box and package it was shipped in was able to stay in place on our metal front door without slipping!
