Nice easy reading book. It has technical information and questions to answer as you read. Test questions toward the end of the book. I’m quite confident I’ll pass the licenses test after reading the book

I am working towards getting my ham radio license and this book was highly recommended. I am on chapter 3 and the book is well laid out and very easy to read. The way the highlight the questions as you read along makes it great to study for the exam. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get into ham radio.

This is a great book that goes in depth into the material and curriculum that prepares you for the exam. It is conceptual. The material will remain relevant. It actually goes beyond just teaching you to pass the test. This is a book that I will keep and refer back to regularly as I get more involved in amateur radio.

This has everything you need to know for the exam. I wish it had a bit more detail to help link some concepts together --- particularly in chapters 6 and 8, the actual "ham radio" chapters (as opposed to the physics of radio). (Right? Explanations make it a bit easier to learn, as opposed to just memorizing answers). Nevertheless, a welcome and necessary companion to online practice tests, and the book *does* have "for more information" pages.The paper isn't the highest quality — a step-up from newsprint — but given that the content isn't detailed enough to be a full-time reference guide, that's probably OK.

This book is extremely informative. And contains all the necessary information you'll need to pass the test and get your license as a technician! It also has a lot of information about various Ham activities and background. It educates on various levels on becoming a Ham. Worth the price and time to ready.

Easy to read. Has all the test questions and answers in the back. I was able to pass my Technician test only missing one out of 35 questions.
