Perfect Transitional Jacket
This is an attractive jacket: It's waterproof and wind-breaking, and the fabric pattern is unusual. I have received many compliments on the jacket each time I have worn it. I love the dual front closures: velcro and a zipper, as well as the adjustable cuffs. Easy on, easy off! The fit is perfect for me, especially the longer length which provides. more coverage. I think it will be very durable over the long run.

A+ for function AND style
I became a fan of this company years ago and pleased to find they haven't lost their straightforward quality and design. It is exactly what I needed: a lightweight, water-proof, breathable raincoat. The cut is surprisingly flattering, not just another bulky cover-up (plus the check pattern is super cute!)

Chic little rain coat
The pricing on this jacket is positively wacky. The price range depending on size and pattern is more than $75 on any given day. (And of course the minute I ordered mine, the price dropped $4 ... )The jacket is lovely, seems extremely well made (as I'd expect for Helly Hansen). There are some description inconsistencies that I thought I'd point out. There is no pocket that the jacket folds into. There are two slash pockets, but putting the jacket into either seems unreasonable without some sort of origami like directions. Second, there are a series of velcro strips along the storm flap (also means you don't have to zip it in order to close it). Great feature, should be mentioned. For the sizing, I found it a little snug in the chest, but great in the shoulders and fine through my hips. (I bought a medium for my 36-29-38 frame - but I think a large would have been good too.) The bottom hem comes down to my thumbs ... so it has good coverage across the lower torso and it's just slightly longer in the back. I haven't been able to try it out in the rain, but as a windbreaker it's actually pretty warm considering the fact that there's no insulation (but it is lined).I ended up putting my jacket into a compression packing cube for travel (10 x 7 x 1), it's about twice the size/weight that I'd hoped for traveling but current forecasts call for rain ... so I'm happy to tote it around if it gets used.

The fit is awesome but not worth the price to wear it once ...
Not sure what happened but the coat I received has white sleeve cuffs and a white bottom. The jacket in the picture ends in blue. This coat will be ruined immediately. The fit is awesome but not worth the price to wear it once and have the sleeves stained.
