You don’t have enough string length to tie on the side so you have to tie it on the backside which is hard if you have a shoulder cuff injury. I’d go with the elastic straps especially if your a bigger person.

I used this to apply castor oil to my back. The oil Penetrated through to my clothes. The size was great and it did a good job of holding the compress in place.

Using this with castor oil as instructed it gets thick with oil, hard to wash out and allows oil leakage on clothes

I thought the outer layer was an oil cloth - it’s not! A plastic cover is still needed. Very disappointed.

Love this so much, I ordered another. The strings are long enough for plus size and the pack doesn’t leak. Stays in place over night.
