A perfect Christmas gift! My mother is big fan of Walker's Shortbread cookies, so for Christmas last year I gave her this lovely Advent Calendar. She LOVED it! If possible, wait to score a deal on Prime Days. But highest recommendation if you're in the mood for something sweet and super charming...

Boring but Great!
Yes, it is a boring Advent calendar, and there are only 5 or 6 "different" kinds of cookies and they are all basically shortbread, but that is exactly what I wanted. I love shortbread and Walker's is good and reliable. If I had a whole box I would eat it all and be very sick. This way I have one a day with my coffee and it makes me happy every morning. So, if you know what you are getting at the start, then get it and enjoy it. It slows down the crazy that is the season.

Shortbread Cookie Advent Calendar
This is the perfect before Christmas gift to your favorite cookie monster! Mine loves shortbread cookies so when I saw this shortbread advent calendar I was happy and excited that I can surprise my friend with this yummy month long treat dispenser! The size is impressive as it must hold 24 cookies! It is filled with the famous Walker made in Scotland textured cookies! The quality of these cookies is widely appreciated. This is a good value especially for all the days of yum to come!

Good Calendar
Good Advent calendar with delicious cookies. The only drawback was the wrapped cookies slipping down under the top, so as to be in the wrong place when the window for the day was opened. We enjoyed it anyway and will probably buy again this year.

Fun
I surprised my husband with this, and he was very happy to have a cookie every day during Christmas. We liked the caramel cookies more than we expected. The chocolate chip ones did not taste like they had any chocolate in them. The last day, the cookie is a star.

Repetitive and Overpriced Experience
The Walker’s Shortbread Cookie Advent Calendar 2024 started out fun, but it quickly lost its charm. While the shortbread cookies were fresh (due to individual wrappers) and tasted great, the experience felt repetitive with the same shapes—heart, star, square—rotating day after day. It’s hard to ignore that you’re paying more per cookie than if you simply bought a box of their shortbread. One quirky feature was the numbered “doors,” which were scattered in no particular order, making you hunt for the next one to open. Someone must have thought that added excitement, but for me, it was weird. While it’s a fun novelty for a day or two, I wouldn’t buy Walker’s Shortbread in this packaging again. A regular box of Walker’s cookies is just as satisfying—and a much better value.

most delicious countdown!
Each day is a reveals a new shortbread cookie, the shapes repeat but they are all adorable. Each comes individually wrapped so they are super fresh and delicious. It takes all my willpower to only eat one a day, I have it first thing with my coffee for a sweet treat. Would definitely buy again!
