This is the perfect before Christmas gift to your favorite cookie monster! Mine loves shortbread cookies so when I saw this shortbread advent calendar I was happy and excited that I can surprise my friend with this yummy month long treat dispenser! The size is impressive as it must hold 24 cookies! It is filled with the famous Walker made in Scotland textured cookies! The quality of these cookies is widely appreciated. This is a good value especially for all the days of yum to come!

A perfect Christmas gift! My mother is big fan of Walker's Shortbread cookies, so for Christmas last year I gave her this lovely Advent Calendar. She LOVED it! If possible, wait to score a deal on Prime Days. But highest recommendation if you're in the mood for something sweet and super charming...

Good Advent calendar with delicious cookies. The only drawback was the wrapped cookies slipping down under the top, so as to be in the wrong place when the window for the day was opened. We enjoyed it anyway and will probably buy again this year.

This was a bit pricey but you get a decent amount of shortbread treats to back up the cost. Walkers is well known for having some of the best shortbread and these do not disappoint.

I love Walker's Shortbread, but because it's soooo good and tempting I usually limit myself to having it only at the holidays. For this year, my husband bought me the advent as a treat and to help moderate the intake. The box and the holiday scene is attractive, and the contents are fresh and as delicious as expected. There are even a couple of shortbread variations not readily available here in the States that I hadn't tried yet. But I did find the construction of the calendar lacking - within a couple of days of standing up, the spine of the opened box split away and fell into 2 pieces. We had to tape them back together to get it to stand up again which was a bit disappointing. Worse, we found that the doors didn't line up to the contents. Early on it was confusing as it appeared that there were 2 cookies for a particular day, only to find that another day located below the first one was now empty. That has been very disappointing. So great contents, but you may just want to purchase a box of cookies rather than the Advent calendar.

Yes, it is a boring Advent calendar, and there are only 5 or 6 "different" kinds of cookies and they are all basically shortbread, but that is exactly what I wanted. I love shortbread and Walker's is good and reliable. If I had a whole box I would eat it all and be very sick. This way I have one a day with my coffee and it makes me happy every morning. So, if you know what you are getting at the start, then get it and enjoy it. It slows down the crazy that is the season.

Great selection of biscuits. A treat for every day. Good quality biscuits and very fresh as each pack is individually sealed for freshness. Full size biscuits. Lovely buttery taste. Crunchy to bite. Value for money.
