Car went into limp mode. Replaced original sensor after 278K miles. It's working so far in the short term. Long term? Wait and see.

CEL came on and car immediately lost power (wouldn't run above 2000rpm's). Disconnected and reconnected the battery and that would clear the code and I could go a little further, before it would do it again. This is all it was.Installation is actually pretty easy. If you loosen the valve cover bolts, you can raise it just enough to remove the timing cover, and you won't have to remove it or replace the gasket.

Good quality at a good price.
This works just as good as a Honda OEM! Don't buy a cheap Chinese made one, or it will fail. This one is well made! Saves you money, and is good quality.

Good product
I installed it a few months ago and so far it's doing its job well. I've put a few hundred miles on it so far. Would definitely buy again.

Geat product!!!
I got this for a 2002 Honda Civic HX that was throwing the codes p0340 and p0341. Watched a quick youtube video on how to change it and I had it changed in less than 30 minutes. And im no car mechanic very far from it actually but this was pretty simple. I didn't even have to remove the motor mount like it suggested in the youtube video. Its been on the car for about 3 days now and no code so if you got those codes give this a try.P.S. Amazon has a much better price than my local car parts store even with online promo codes for the exact same brand!

Did the trick.
The sensor fits and performs like OEM. Has presently resolved the DTC camshaft position sensor issue on my 2004 Honda Civic LX 1.7L. Straight-forward install once you get all the other car bits out of the way which wasn't too, too bad for this DIY project. However, the valve cover gasket leaked after reassembly, ultimately requiring replacement of that too; so be forewarned.

Perfect fit
Fit perfectly on my 2002 Honda Civic LX 1.7L. Perfect fit looked exactly like the one it had on and plugged in without any problems.. this is the one in the center top of the timing belt case not the one near the bottom by the balancer...have had mine on for about a month now I’ll update if anything goes wrong but so far very good
