Plastic welder from VCTSELITY works great
Plastic welder from VCTSELITY. Works great. Used the clips to weld cracked plastics on a John Deere tractor. Welded with clips on the back side first. Then flat bladded the front to smooth it out. Looked much better and added some strength. As long as it lasts, it’s well worth it.

Easy to use. Wish I had found it sooner
We drive an older car (my hubby's baby). The Florida sun is hard on everything, especially dash boards and all plastics inside the vehicle. Our front dash started cracking bad, and we could not find a replacement for under $1000 and even they had issues (1996 & hard to find)The whole dash was coming down on us as we drove down the rode. We were about to give up when I found this. It's so easy to do, and does the job. I haven't finished it yet, but at least it isn't falling in our lap when we hit a bump. One caution, make sure you have ventilation - the fumes can get to you, and probably aren't good for you.

Worked great on fixing truck dash!
Worked great and super easy to use! Used it to fix some internal broken dash pieces on an old Dodge Ram. Keep in mind that these staples are not structurally super strong but instead just keep things connected and can reduce further cracks.

Solid Overall
This is a solid plastic welder. Already used it for a few projects to fixing cracks, to fully welding back on plastic pieces. It heats up quick and you can get to work in a few minutes. Haven’t had any issues with it overheating for longer jobs.My only negatives, is that it comes with one style plastic melter and in some cases it would be nice to have different shapes to be able to do a better job. The other thing is that the back end of it does get quite hot. Also the snips and the utility knife it comes with are not great. Specially the utility knife. It pretty much doesn’t function. Also the little light on the welder is only useful for letting you know it’s on and heating.Otherwise it comes with quite of bit of accessories that should last you for some time, to do multiple jobs. Comes with a lot of black, grey, white, and clear sticks.

Does what you expect
For the price, this is a decent kit. Make sure you're working in a well ventilated area, you'll be making quite a bit of smoke, which you won't want to breathe in. I found the supply and variety of hot staples to be generous and the included flush cut pliers to be a welcome surprise. One thing I did notice, is that the smoothing tool is very difficult to use and has very little workability, in that the plastic rods either don't melt or turn into mush very quickly. This was my first time attempting to use this type of tool, so it may be user error.Regardless of my opinion, if you're looking for a starter kit for plastic welding, this is a decent one. You will learn as you go.

This is a hot little tool
You need patience and practice to work with this tool. Get some scrap plastic and work with that before trying to fix something you care about or you may melt a hole in it or have other undesirable results. I still need to spend more time with the tool before I try another project, but it works great for it's intended purpose.

Buy it you wont regret it!
This plastic welder is the best, compact and comes with pretty much everything you will need out the box, the 200w is no joke, you pretty much pull the trigger and the metal clips go right thru the plastic in 2 seconds. I havent had any problems with it overheating but I used it for like 20 minutes.. it does get hot and I live in P.R. where the temperature is no joke. Just use it for like 5 minutes and let it sit for 2 and keep going. Used it for 2 bumpers that had tabs broken and it worked flawlessly
