Excellent for bright, sunny days.
I used to use a clear bubble shield, but would be squinting all the time and do not like squeezing a pair of sunglasses between my head and helmet. This is a great solution.It does look like you are looking through a pair of wayfarers. If it wasn't so hot out, I'd just leave my helmet on all the time and my sunglasses at home.The only issue is the silver wrapping (don't really know the proper term for it) near the three button snaps is bubbling. It's not smooth against the shield. I returned the first shield I bought back for this reason, got the second one and its has the same issue. Doesn't effect the function of the shield, but just looks poor for a brand new item.Otherwise I recommend this item.

Fits Bell 500 perfectly
This shield fit my Bell 500. Size L helmet perfectly, much better than the Bell visor it replaced. Snaps in securely, with a good range of snap positions in their slots, and has good optics. The Wayfarer Green does a good job of filtering sunlight. The chrome colored beading around the outside eliminates any sharp edges. It gives a nice retro look to the helmet and attenuates the bubble head appearance of the Bell 500.

Good shield, proper style, minor modifications.
First off this is a cheap, and stylish addition to a 3/4 helmet. I love the green tint as it matches my favorite sun glasses. I epoxied the snaps into the location that worked best for my helmet and it solved the minor rattling issue. Will order a second one for when I eventually scratch this one up to much .

Useful with help
The shield works fine it's just not secure. After losing 2 on a long ride I realized that you need something to secure the sides and keep it from moving around. I'm going to try some clear moving tape ,on the sides, to keep it secure without blocking any sight. I need to mention I'm not using this on a Bell helmet ,it's a Daytona 3/4 -3 Snap.

Very dark and exactly as expected
I liked the helmet but not the outer chrome lining, I ended up removing it.
