Mine was delivered intact. No issues. Yeah it's plastic, but for what it is, and where it's going, it should hold up just fine. The knock outs were easy to clear and leave clean holes. For the price, it fits the bill. Comes with a string pull vs a chain, but again, it works just fine. No complaints, would buy again.

Worked like a charm. The cords were a little shorter than we would’ve liked to make it super easy to install but it was honestly still pretty easy

This was purchased to replace an identical fixture, but the pull chain had broken off inside and was unrepairable. Always use a professional electrician unless you know what you are doing.

A good enough plastic basic light socket with pull cord. Did the trick and a brand you can trust.

I live in a 1940s home and the closest have this type of light. These are not ceramic like the old school ones but work just fine and the are way cheaper
