This shoe rack is perfect in every way. It's nice looking. It's sturdy but very lightweight. It's easy to put together and I love that you have the option to have the shelves either sloped or level. I sloped the top shelves but made the bottom shelf level so I could fit another row of shoes on the floor underneath. Also, if you have a lot of shoes you can link multiple units together virtually seamlessly. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

The perfect shoe organizer. Tall, very sturdy, fits a lot, and because of the openness of the design, it can fit any size boot or shoe, including chunky heels, knee-high boots, etc.—you can turn things to fit wherever needed. Nothing ever falls through, everything remains visible, and looks great. We call my closet the shoe store now! I can't believe I have over 100 pairs of shoes—how did that happen?? But now I can see them all, and actually wear them!! Easy assembly, light weight, easy to move, incredibly functional and versatile, looks great—it checks every box. We looked for so long for the right thing. Just buy this. You won't be disappointed.

A sturdy and stable enough that I am not nervous they will fall over. All of my shoes are a woman’s size 10 and everything fits perfectly. Even my 3 inch heels.

I used this to store spools of ribbon on my craft room. It worked perfectly and holds SO much. Easy to put together and good quality.

It’s exactly what I needed. I could not find the assembly instructions until after I had finished putting it together so I had to look at the photo to guess which side was the back vs the front in terms of which holes to put the shelves in. But overall it was Easy to assemble. It fits my 6” 9.5 sized heels perfectly! If I put them all facing the same way (heel to the back for example) I can only fit 4 on each shelf. Alternating I can fit five. I’m so happy with this purchase. Since it’s so tall it’s a bit wobbly if pushed. I decided not to anchor it to the wall for now but I’m sure those pieces work great. It doesn’t fit my boots, of course. I could skip some of the shelves to have enough height for the boots but I have way too many shoes that currently do fit that I’ll buy a second one for boots if needed.

TL;DR: If you're looking for a shoe rack that is sturdier, has the ability to add on to later, and can hold your taller shoes, then this is it. Our family has a shoe problem. Like shoes on shoes on shoes. We've struggled to find a way to efficiently store the wide variety of shoes we have and needed something that would also work well for a men's size 13. The tilted shoe racks that were just metal bars were never tall enough to hold booties or heels of any kind nor could they fit any of the hubby's high tops. The plastic ones always bowed in the middle if the whole rack was filled with men's shoes. I hesitated for several days based on the price, but you get what you pay for and I was sick of throwing money at low quality shoe racks. We were very pleased after assembling this rack and filling it with shoes. Pros -Sturdy -Decent color (bought the gray version) -Holds taller shoes -Stackable -Can be angled or horizontal -Durable -Overall design is more aesthetically pleasing than cheaper racks Cons -Pricier than other shoe racks Unboxing: All components were inside the box. One of the mesh bottoms had a broken piece of mesh, but it was on the bottom side so I wasn't too worried about it since it's a shoe rack and it's not meant to be beautiful and perfect. I am happy because it still meets its functional purpose without causing damage. Assembly: You are never too smart to follow the directions. Save yourself some grief and at least review them prior to assembling. I didn't and ended up needing to disassemble and start over. Oops. First impressions: We love it. We assembled it with the shelves horizontal, no tilt.It is tall enough for women's heels and platforms. Height measurement between shelves is approximately 7.75". Shelf length measurement is approximately 35". Holds four pairs of men's shoes on a shelf, but can hold 7 or 8 pairs if you stack one shoe on top of the other. All personal preference in how you want them sitting on the shelf. Can easily fit shoe boxes on this rack as well. The shelves are pretty sturdy and as of a month's worth of use, there is no bow to any of the shelves. Even if over time they bow under sustained weight, I foresee us just taking the bowed shelf off and bending it back into shape since this is made out of metal. The rack does not have any front to back rock going on so I"m confident that this shelf will not fall over under normal use. Addressing some poor reviews: Does it sway when you pull on it? Yes. Is that something that makes me feel like it is going to fall over? No. This rack comes with the kit that will allow you to secure it to the wall (just like all tall shelving does) so if you feel like this is a safety risk, then mount it to the wall. If the shelf were to fall on your kid because you chose not to utilize the safety feature that they send with it, then that's on you.

Quality

Good quality and sturdy and easy to assemble. Holds many shoes and boots. There was no need to secure it to the wall. You may want to if you have young children to ensure it doesn't tip over. Tip - when placing pairs of shoes on the rack, put one shoe where toe is front facing. The 2nd shoe put heel beside the toe of the 1st shoe. You'll find you can fit more shoes on the rack as seen in photo taken.
