I purchased this Soucolor 9” x 12” sketchbook as part of a birthday gift for my daughter. My first impression is very positive. The sketchbook arrived well packaged and in great condition. I like that it has a sturdy top spiral binding and plenty of pages, which is perfect for practicing and trying different ideas. The paper feels nice and thick, and I appreciate that it’s acid-free. She hasn’t started using it yet since it’s for her birthday, but I’ll update my review once she begins drawing in it. I got this sketchbook for my daughter's art class, and it's exactly what we needed. I originally bought a small, thin one from Walmart that didn't hold up, but this sketchbook is a huge upgrade. The size is excellent — plenty of space for full drawings - and the pages are thick, sturdy, and perfect for sketching, shading, and even light markers. The cover feels durable enough to handle being taken in and out of a backpack every day, and the whole book has a nice, solid feel to it. My daughter was excited as soon as she opened it, and it's already becoming her go-to for class projects. If you're looking for a reliable sketchbook for school or personal art, this one is absolutely worth it. Quality is fantastic for the price!

Works well, just as described. Perfect for school . The quality of the paper is nice and thick. My child has used all forms of markers, crayons, and paint and the paper absorbs and works so well. Will be buying another for school next year.

Good paper quality, binding is thick wire, and heavy weight

I have never purchased a sketchbook before so this is my first experience. I love it! Drawing on it with a pencil is so amazing because it keeps a straight line, the paperweight is thick, I've only used a marker on it once and it was a calligraphy black but it didn't bleed through, you can kind of see through it but I would need a light box if I wanted to trace on it, it feels quality to me. The only thing I wish it had was a hard cover, it has a plastic flexible cover with a cardboard backing. I like the backing and the spiral bound feel sturdy. But the cover I wish was more sturdy. (If your cat eats plastic like mine does 🙄 he bit a hole through it the first day I got it.) One thing I absolutely love about it and did not expect is that it has perforated pages! And I tried it they come off nice and easy just barely had to fold it back once and the tear was nice and smooth! The color of the paper is a cream slash off white and there are a ton of pages! I'm very happy with my purchase... But I would have given it five stars had it had a hardcover since it's already warped (which the cat did not do it was just from use). It flops around. I feel like for the price compared to what I would have to pay in a store this was a great value and a nice experience with my first art pad.

Excellent size ans quality paper. Grabbed it at a discount which was a plus. Also saw it available on prime day so something to look out for in the future.

I really like this sketchbook. The paper feels good, the cover and spiral are sturdy, and overall it feels high quality. I also thought the little printed note was really sweet. I loved that it’s from a family business. Thank you :)
