The media could not be loaded.  Immediately after opening the box, I smelled a strong coffee smell. But I love tea. The persistent smell of coffee from the plastic lid is annoying. When you buy a cup that you will drink from, you want it to be your new cup.I understand that the coffee lover who had this product before me was somehow not satisfied with it. But I decided to check how it works. I poured water and connected it to my battery. In principle, everything works. In HI mode the consumption is about 5 amperes, in Lo 9.7 amperes. The temperature difference between the indicator and the measured temperature differs by 6 degrees Celsius. Water will not boil under normal conditions. Its temperature will not exceed 94 degrees Celsius. The bulk of bacteria will die at 85, but it’s impossible to boil. It's not really a teapot. This is a device for keeping the drink warm. The keep warm function is working.In Hi mode from 18 to 100(94), the water heated up in about 21 minutes. It is possible that the temperature readings may be overestimated because the sensor is located close to the heater. I will ask you to replace it with a new one. I don't like the smell of burnt coffee 😁Update: The replacement arrived literally within a day. In the new one, the temperature on the indicator and the measured one differ by one degree. This is within the margin of error. I made tea. In the tea preparation mode, the water is heated to 100 and then the temperature is maintained at 90. Quite. I'll try it in the car. The location of the connector is one of the main advantages of this boiler. Can be placed in a standard cup holder and turned on. When closed, warm water does not spill. I bought this for making tea on the road to replace my coffee. I plugged it in and it took a full 20 minutes to heat up. No time to make it during my 15 min break.

It takes around 15 minutes to boil, fits in cup holder, cable does not interfere with anything, it has a little strainer for tea inside. Controls are a little bit strange, but after figuring it out it just works. It beeps at you when it reaches the temperature, but it still shuts itself off - so no risk of draining the battery. It keeps the warm for quite some time when it is off, but it is far from being a thermos. It pulls around 100W from cigarette lighter plug when on full chooch. The only con I found so far is that it shuts itself down when you crank an engine - so, you have to turn it on again. I'm happy, now I can enjoy a scenery and a tea at the same time during my road trips.

Received my kettle today very nice quality works very well. I'm in the USA so the only issue I have is it set to Celsius by default does anybody know how to change it to Fahrenheit if at all possible. Thank you in advance.

I wanted hot coffee…I get halfway through my DD coffee and then it’s cold and either get rid of it or find a microwave to heat it…NOT ANYMORE !!! This thing can heat the coffee so that it’s even too hot to drink ( you can adjust it to anywhere between lukewarm and boiling ).It’s easy to use and pretty straightforward on how to operate.

Once your setting are set everything is good, EXCEPTyou have to be careful NOT to accidently touch the settings screen, which in nearly impossible to do.Everytime you touch the setting screen something changes and you have to spend time figuring out what your correct settings should be.DEFINITELY WOULD NOT PURCHASE HAD I KNOWN THIS. $58 wasted

On second day it was showing E3. On car and converter. it requires at least 4 A charger up to 10 A. So you need really good converter if you want to use it not in car. It shows problems E3 when on bottom stick burned liquid (milk; coffee). As a result it doesn't work it makes really hard to get warm milk or get instant coffee. But you can make boiled eggs inside it or boil a water or make a grounded coffee in cart to avoid burning bottom.

Das Gerät heizt schnell sogar bei nur 12V, und die umfangreiche Anzeige ist sehr gut.Sehr schönes Design.Der Kabel Eingang ist mittig und stört nicht, so dass das Gerät sicher stramm im Becherhalter klemmt.der Deckel-Mechanismus ist dicht und sicher, aber stört ein wenig vor der Nase beim Trinken, aber das ist nur Gewöhnungssache, das nehme ich gerne in Kauf, wenn der Verschluss bei Aufkochen und Parken im Becherhalter sonst sicher ist.Aber Problem bei meinem Auto:der Zigarettenanzünder wurde sehr sehr heiß.Da sollte man aufpassen ...Ich muss mal beobachten, ob es am Stecker des Kabels oder an der Buchse im Auto liegt, und entsprechend handeln, aber auf Dauer kann das so nicht bleiben, die Brandgefahr ist zu hoch.Achtung: Mir ist noch nicht klar, woran es liegt, es kann auch sehr gut nur an dem Auto liegen.Also möchte ich hier noch NICHT über das Produkt meckern !!Ich will nur ein Denkanstoß geben, wo andere Kunden drauf achten sollten.

Heats quickly with water for making tea but when heating milk the flask overheats due to a film of sediment from the milk inside the bottom of the flask.
