Very good product and company
Excellent product. Have ordered multiple times from Thomas Scientific. Last time there was a problem with delivery, which they resolved fairly and quickly. Highly recommend.

Most reliable test strips to check for alkalinity I know of.
I’ve been buying these very reliable, easy to use test strips for close to 20 years and check my numbers nearly every day as it helps see what diet does to your alkalinity. I like to be more on the alkaline inside than acidic for many reasons.

Quick Test and Accurate
Got this product for a quick test of water PH seems accurate when comparing with a digital PH meter I have. I like this product because the test paper can be quickly disposed of, faster than my PH meter which would need to be cleaned and dried before putting the meter away.

I can't say if this paper gives correct readings or not.
it's a little hard to rip off the holder nicely. It's like how that new wavy toilet paper tears. I got different readings from two different brand papers which is not reassuring when trying to keep my pH in the 7 range for health concerns. I wanted more accuracy and got more confusion.

Not Useful.
I bought this paper with a narrow range to measure soil pH. As I checked it out I found out it was not accurate or consistently off in one direction.I measured the city water and got a pH of 5.5 to 5.8. Measured it a few times, measured our neighbors, measured post our home carbon water filter. All were in the 5.5 to 5.8 range.Called the city and they came out with a real, calibrated, pH meter, the water was pH 7.5.I also measured some buffered contact lens solution. The pH paper said 7.6-8.0 and the city pH meter said 7.7.With this data the paper appears to not work for even determining if the pH is above or below 7.0 Worthless for me.TomThe paper is Hydrion pH 5.5-8.0 Lot 220619 Exp Jul 15, 2022.
