I have had this watch for 3 and a half years now, Its a great bit of kit, The functions are simple to use, its easy to read, your stats are simple and concise (Unlike a certain brand that may or may not be named after a fruit, where you need a PHD to understand it) Its accurate stap and heart wise (I have compared it a to hospital equipment, as I have been in and far to much in the last 3 years) It gets charged once every week - ten days, so again really happy. It does have the odd blip, where it wont connect, or wont read anything and has to be reset, but you don't lose anything as the App backs it all up. There are multiple faces and straps for this (both official and not) so you can really customise to your hearts content. its had plenty of bumps and scrapes, its absolutely fine, so durability is a big plus. there are other more aesthetically pleasing fitness trackers out there, but this one is elegant its definitely substance over style This watch also alerted me to a heart issue I did not know I had. so a massive thanks and thumbs up from me.

So far so good! After a couple of months, the battery still only needs charging once a week, and even then I can push it to 9 days if I'm lazy. I use the timer feature daily once or twice, the alarm twice-weekly, I have a watch-face downloaded from the store which alleges to use a lot of battery power, so maybe I could get more battery if I didn't care for the aesthetics of the face so much. I don't use the map feature, or haven't yet, as I haven't needed to. Maybe this would drain the battery more. I've been able to sync two bank accounts to the Google Pay app. Virgin and Santander, both an easy setup. Some readers seem to not accept this style of watch/payment, like the local busses, so I still have to keep a spare bankcard on me just incase I run into this problem. The notifications, as with the Alta, are... somewhat useless. When I update the app, I'll receive notifications from texts/discord for a few hours, and then they won't arrive anymore. I don't really care about this feature, but it's a quality of life improvement when it does work. The app frequently reports there's a problem with notifications. If I turn an arbitrary random toggle on and off then it works again for an hour or so, but I don't really care enough. I've been swimming for 1 hour a week and had no issues with the watch following each swim. It's also survived some heavy rain-fall and a lot of washing up. The strap is... fine. I wouldn't wear it all the time. it's softer than I expected, but I still bought a replacement that looks smarter and feels better. I use the strap it came with for swimming only, as it's quite water repellent. The pedometre is good, it took a few days I guess to sync with my movements. Day 1 of ownership I excitedly walked around the house counting my steps manually, and saw it counted 1 in every 10. But when I'm walking outside, and I guess making more body-movements, it counts those steps okay. I don't enjoy the activity-tracker face. When I'm wearing a watch it's mostly because I want to know the time, but when it automatically begins to track my walking I have to scroll to the bottom of the display to see the time. Frustrating when I'm trying to move quickly for a bus or train and just need to know if I'm going to get there on-time and I have to slow my pace to swipe the screen. I guess the feature can be disabled, but I wish it would just put the time at the top of the screen then let me scroll for further information. Also annoying when I'm swimming, as I can't see the wall-mounted clocks without my glasses lmao, and I can't check the time on my watch because the time is not visible for the activity tracker. Baffling. I have to stop an squint, which is hilarious but is an interruption. This is the reason for the loss of 1 star, because that annoys me regularly.

Beware if you already have the google health app ! You might have a sync problem Would give this less than 1 star if that was possible After two hours I still cannot get the product to work My problem starts with previously owning a Versa 3 , and having the google health app When I tried to set this up - it synced with phone , but the versa 4 screen said - ‘ sync with app ‘ - I couldn’t get off this screen . After looking for advice from the internet and trying various ‘fixes’- I went straight to the google help centre . Sadly I should have read the articles on there before I purchased , this is a known problem , a problem they have known about for two months with no resolution as yet , which is beyond awful for an app company if this size . My Versa 4 was therefore unusable , after only 4 hours since delivery I have started the returns process with Amazon It’s a shame as my Versa 3 was a great device and I loved the google health app - but no point in spending this amount of money on a device that you can’t set up - I never even got to see a clock face !

....that will be because its replacing the now dead Fitbit Ionic which is more man size. I'll get used to this though. Everything download and switched over easily via and was up and running in no time. I'm now playing with it to see what it does and what i'll need from it. For me, I like it and do recommend.
