This works great for travel. It provides an extra sense of security and helped me sleep easier while on vacation. I even started using it at home!

Don’t think they fit under the door so well but boy are they loud!

I used this for all my airbnbs, hostles, hotels in Europe and i loved it. I felt so much safer and secure wherever I was. If the door opened while it was there it would make super loud noise alerting everyone. The wedge however didn’t stay in place so it wouldn’t actually stop in intruder.

Piece in mind have used in my apt as well as hotels. It’s loud which is great will wake you up for sure. Works great, travel friendly. For the price it’s worth it.

The door stop alarm was exactly what was needed to assist in securing my daughters dorm room. Someone had entered her dorm room in the middle of the night while she and her roommate where sleeping and stole some money. The door stop alarm gives me some piece of mind. It is just as described, easy to use, has three volume settings that would scare anyone away that was trying to break in. Will definitely alert anyone around that the door was being opened. It has a rubber non slip bottom that holds securely on the floor. Runs on a single 9 volt battery. I recommend this product for anyone that stays in hotel rooms or has children living in dorms.

The Ace Mining door alarm was ordered for use with 4 of our doors. I tested one of the alarms on a door that I knew it would fit. The alarm was loud enough, and came on quickly when it was set off. Unfortunately, 2 of the other units would not work with 2 of the other doors. No matter what we did, the unit did not fit the door and could not be made to work. The units do work, but just be aware that a door may not fit the unit. Based upon them not fitting, I would not order again.

They work as expected. Easy to use. Be aware they are shockingly loud. Almost gave me a heart attack when I was testing it. Definitely will wake you and the rest of the block up if triggered and will absolutely scare away anyone trying to get in...that's if the alarm doesn't scare them to death first. Will give you peace of mind ex. When traveling.

Omg the low sound setting is so loud! I bought these for travel but have started using them at home. That noise would either deafen or scare the bejeezus out of anyone attempting a break in!

These things are GREAT! They are incredibly loud and they stop the door from being opened. My sister had an emergency one day and we had to get into her house and she had one of these set on her front door. The alarm was incredibly loud. My husband had to ram into the door with his shoulder quite a few times to get the door open just a couple inches. We then had to find a stick to put under the door to move the door stop out of the way (which was still hard to do because the top metal on the door stop bent a bit and it wedged really tightly under the door making it incredibly hard to get it out from under the door). The police that were with us that morning were also really impressed with how loud it was and how well it worked for preventing quick entry into the suite. They were surprised they were so inexpensive, as well, and said they would be recommending them to people for things like travel. If we didn't know what it was it under my sister's door that day, it would have taken even longer to get in her house because we wouldn't have known we had to move that out of the way. There's no way anyone would be able to break into your house without you hearing the alarm and having plenty of time to call for help. We bought more of these for my daughter to take with her to put on her hotel room door every time they were in their room when she went to Mexico. I will be taking them whenever I travel (we already have a home alarm but would use these if we didn't). I've seen videos showing how easy it is to break into hotel room doors with a simple tool so one should have something for added security. We have purchased other alarms for about the same price and they work too, but they don't have anything to prevent someone opening the door like the doorstopper, they just make noise. The door stopper on these works great and these are much louder than the other alarms we've tried. Highly recommended for anyone traveling or anyone who can't afford a home alarm system. These are great! Excellent price! Well worth what you pay for the peace of mind you get when using them.
