Silicon Valley: The Complete Fourth Season (Blu-ray)

Some people never win.
Sometimes you want to get off the roller coaster, sometimes you want someone else to get off the roller coaster while you keep riding. The departure of the (biggest) internal source of friction may make it harder to invent trouble in future seasons, but viewers will get over it. The successful show is a beautiful train wreck of failure, maybe an orgasm of failure is a better metaphor, unfortunately with the coarse language and behavior which is probably characteristic and fitting of the group this show is trying to represent. One character objects to the decay of the standards of another, and I agree, but I think this is story (and desperation) driven. Every flawed aspect needs to be exaggerated over time in a show like this I suppose. There are times when a simple alternative solution is avoided to make the story, so I'm sure the audience who is brainstorming is a tad frustrated while watching. I'm sure it's difficult to come up with new ways to screw up a good idea over and over and over again. How do you fail me?Let me count the ways.

Great, Great show. You'll laugh your arms off. Tell your parents and friends to buy and watch all 4 seasons!
This show is off the hook, it cracks me up every time I watch it. The writing is brilliant, so is the acting a d production. This show should walk away with Emmies every year. Mike Judge and team should be praised for their product. Two little errors that I noticed are; the alleged loss of Erlich, T.J. Miller, which I don't see how the show will recover from, and the near fatal marketing mistake of releasing the fourth season of the show with animation chracteratur's of the cast. I really like the show and had it in my wish list queue but I blew right past it because I thought season 4 was an animation, not a real live people. I hope it's not true that Erlich is leaving and I hope use real people on the cover of season 5.

excellent performances), it's the product that is lacking
The show is good(well written, excellent performances), it's the product that is lacking. No commentaries is unfortunate, I would have liked more extras. If you want to sell stuff to fans in this day and age, giving them exclusive, fun content is important, I think. I got this as I have the first three season already, and I'm not sure I'll get any more. Now that TJ Miller left, I'm less interested in the show and if they offer no extras or commentaries in the future, I may end up passing, personally.

The evolution should happen next season or this great show runs the risk of getting stale
I'm still entertained but the recycled get up, fail, come out on top again through a technically premise is getting stale. The clever humor they had in the last three seasons has diminished. The ending of this season leads me to believe that the formula I just spoke of is about to change. The evolution should happen next season or this great show runs the risk of getting stale. I will buy into season 5 but it will be my last if it doesn't progress. I hope they bring the clever humor back.

Not to miss
I am not in the tech industry. I am not in the target audience. However I love this show for the personalities, the twists and turns of the story line, and how fun it is to watch. I will miss TJ Miller and Erlich Bachman...such a great character. But Mike Judge is creative and smart and I am sure the show will continue to move forward and I will continue to watch with anticipation.

I still enjoyed it quite a lot)
at first i thought the same thing as the negative reviewers, that this was more of the same formula as the first couple of seasons (although tbf, I still enjoyed it quite a lot), but the end of the season really changes things, tying together some pretty great character development for Richard that you see was threaded throughout the show and some other stuff that I won't get into in the interest of spoilers.

naja
Die Quali lässt immer mehr nach.Lachflashes gibt es hier kaum noch in der Staffel.Kein Wunder warum TJ Miller keine Lust mehr hat.
