The recipient loved it

Before I have people come out and have a go, I want to say I have read many Assassins Creed books, novels, comics over the years. But this, is an unreadable book. I'm 100 pages in, and I can't handle the cringey character portrayal. It doesn't seem to fit, not what I was expecting from a novel really. Most novels I like, from the series, but the way things are shown, and how things are described, doesn't make it appropriate for adult readers. I laughed when I shouldn't, cringed on many occasions. I got to page 100 and I could not continue. I don't even know if I enjoyed anything from it, which is a real shame. The only other AC book that annoyed me this much was the Black Flag manga. At least there was some enjoyment however in those, and I did actually finish the books!
