It makes ice cubes fairly quick in the freezer. The refrigerator section is very cold! Canned and bottled beverages are kept very cold. Adjustable temperature. Very quiet. It comes with two tempered glass shelves. It keeps food cold too. It's a good small version of a full sized refrigerator. I love it! I don't know how I waited this long to get one. It may cost you a little more, but the quality is well worth it.

*** UPDATE *** Honeywell product support confirmed product was dead and promptly sent a new one, so I am bumping the review from 1 to 4 stars. Why note 5? Because it was ridiculous that the manual had the wrong customer support number (which Honeywell said they knew about), plus the replacement refrigerator came with some of the insulation on the outside, which I had to remove using a solvent. Overall, the refrigerator is about what you would expect -- somewhat larger than a dorm fridge, so a nice size for an office (or dorm), without taking up more floor space. Having a separate freezer is nicer than the old ones with a little cold box in the top corner, but don't expect separate temperature controls at this price point. Does the job, which basically is to keep beverages and lunches cold at the office. Product arrived completely dead. Further, spent a half hour trying to get in touch with customer service, because the number in the manual is incorrect -- it should be 1.888, NOT 1.800 as listed. What organization does not even know its own customer service number? Also, please be advised that although this is listed as a Honeywell refrigerator, it is NOT made by Honeywell. If you call Honeywell, they will say they can't provide any product support because they just license their name. Instead, you need to call an entirely different company. I've had Honeywell products in the past, and they were fine, but this is NO LONGER Honeywell.

My last mini-fridge was the type with one door, the freezer area a tiny part in the top of the one section. Having a separate freezer section means it doesn't freeze over because I've opened the one door that causes room air to create all those ice crystals. This one is a bit larger by about a foot taller, but it is still a nice, compact unit but even though it is small, it holds quite a bit for a small/compact refrigerator/freezer. I have installed this in a small trailer (camping) that is older. I've been working to upgrade the trailer and this was a GREAT update to what was in it before updating. It's so much nicer to be able to stock the fridge before leaving on a camping trip with enough food/drink to last the entire trip. The fridge cools/freezes perfectly as it should (I have a solar panel/2000w inverter system that works well with this refrigerator) so even when I'm not hooked to external power, the electrical system keeps it working. Very happy with my camper's new, upgraded refrigerator. This would work well for a college student's dorm room, an off-site construction office trailer, a man-cave, and an outdoor kitchen as well as other situations.

Bought from the Warehouse. Received repackaged but had a lot of oil at the bottom of the bag. Plugged in, compressor kicked on and got very hot but never cooled the fridge after several hours.. The oil probably leaked from the compressor. Returned for a full refund.
