Good Consistency & No Irritation, Ingredients w/ Potential Benefits-Won’t Know Results For Months
This Dr. Zenovia Scar Gel Treatment is a clear silicone and glycerin based gel that doesn’t have fragrance or even a scent that I can detect. This formula feels gentle as it doesn’t cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. The gel has a pleasing consistency as it’s thick yet smooth and easily spreadable. After gently rubbing it in, this gel doesn’t leave a heavy or goopy residue and instead leaves just a thin, clear layer that’s moisturizing and protective. The residue is just a bit sticky, but that seems good like it keeps it from all disappearing into my skin.I’m using this gel on a scar on the bridge of my nose and like that it doesn’t show or interfere with my makeup. (I do also apply a vitamin C serum to that area first.) I’m also applying it to a recent incisional scar on my back that’s hard to reach, and the non-runny consistency makes it easier to apply than thinner products. I just started using this gel on a C-section scar that’s so old I don’t really expect results. Per the label, results can take 8 weeks for new scars and 3-6 months for old scars, so I can’t yet gauge results.I like that this gel is non irritating, has a good consistency, doesn’t show and is easy to use. Also, while I’m not an expert, the ingredients seem good in that it lacks high risk ingredients such as fragrance, plus it has silicone, Resveratrol, bakuchiol, vitamin E and other ingredients with potential to improve the appearance (such as color) and texture of skin. So I recommend it for those reasons and because I’ll keep using it myself, with the caveat I can’t yet gauge results and a dermatologist may be able to recommend more effective products tailored to individual issues. Like it a lot. 4.5 stars.Ingredients: Glycerin, Dimethicone, Bakuchiol, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Polyphenols, Punica Granatum Sterols, Bromelain, Papain, Allantoin, Tocopherol, Soy Isoflavones, Genistein, Tocopheryl Acetate, Purified Water, Resveratrol, HEA/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Stearath-20 Methacrylate Copolymer, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Polysorbate 80, Decyl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol.

More of skin care than scar treatment
This is a silicone gel which protects skin. It might help in preventing scar from forming but I am not convinced of treating a scar. I would stick with using a silicone tape for treating a scar.Regardless of effectiveness, the problem with gel is that it is sticky and needs to be covered with something. It may be cheaper than similar products, but at about $45 for 0.75 fl. oz. I would rather use plain cream for skin protection.

Hopeful
Been using for a couple weeks and hoping it'll help lessen some older scars I have. Kinda of a thick gel and just rub it into the skin it doesn't really have any sent to it so good if your sensitive to any of that. Haven't noticed much improvement but it's still really early as states could take 3-6 months but wanted to give initial thoughts. I do think it would help a lot with fresh cuts and helping them not form scars or helping more on newer ones. so hoping it will work on older ones at least help lessen a bit. Similar products to this seem to work good for that so hopeful this one will to.

Only time will tell…
* Dr. Zenovia Hormonal Dermatology Scar Gel Treatment - Silicone Scar Cream for Face and Body*I have a scar on my cheekbone that I’ve used maderma on for years. You really need to be diligent and apply it 3x a day to see any results. Gels like this work best in the early stages of scarring but I’m hopeful that this will do the trick only time will tell! It’s a gel like consistency. Applies and absorbs well without and sheen or residue. I didn’t notice any fragrance and it hasn’t irritated my skin. Impressed so far!

Scar treatment gel - tried on acne scars
The order comes with a tube of the scar gel treatment. I am seeing the effects only slightly over the use of two months. I was trying to treat the acne scars remaining from mask acne. The cream is gentle and it doesn’t irritate my skin. The price point is on the higher side in my opinion which you could potentially achieve the same result with other known scar treatment brands.

Still Testing but moisturizing and heavy
Dr. Zenovia Hormonal Dermatology Scar Gel TreatmentThis is a heavy and sticky gel, it's not too bad to use it and I'm still testing it. It's a transparent gel and can be squeezed to your skin.According to the instruction, for new scars use 2-3 times a day for 8 week and for old scars use 2 times a day for 3-4 months so it really need effort and patience.
