I have tried other cheaper brands of USB-C hub and although they were cheaper they were poorly made or didnt work as promised and were tempremental. This hub works great, its nicely made and works as promised with plenty of connections to suit even a demanding user. I have mine wired up and using the below perfectly: 1x Display port 34" 1440p monitor 1x HDMI port 27" 4K monitor 1x Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (Via single USB-A socket) 1x Wireless Plantronics headset 1x Logitech Webcam 1x USB-C laptop power supply My advice would be to not go too cheap when buying USB-C hubs as you get what you pay for, Anker makes nice products.

Super. Replaced my Lenovo brick with this bad boy. Does everything required of it inc. 100w charging and delivery of my home 1gbps internet connection. Only criticism is the power lead usb c is short (got a female to male extension form this and all works perfectly) . Also I connect an additional screen: xp pen writing tablet. If I sometimes remove this and reconnect the ms windows handover doesn't remember resolution settings but this is a windows issue not exclusive to the Anker dock

I am a very loyal customer of ANKER products. All my wall charger plugs (three of them) are ANKER as well as my lightning and USB-C cables. All their products are of an amazing quality and super reliable. This docking station is no exception. My workplace provided me a dock that is three or four times the size of this and has less connectors. Hence, I decided to return that to them and order this off my own accord. Simple to set up. Just hook it up to the laptop via it's USB-C cable and then connect whatever you want to it! If you connect it to a charger (via USB-C) then it will provide the charge to the laptop too! A win-win!

A great find. If you're short on desk space, this magnetises onto the lower back of my iMac — loosely, and puts an area that was doing nothing to use. I'm sure that's not what the makers intended, but it works.

The build quality of this is overall very good although the PD connector is ever so slightly misaligned so that inserting a cable is sometimes tricky and requires holding at a slight angle. Otherwise build quality seems excellent. *[EDIT] I’ve now tried this with a 30w/18w USB-C Anker 12v car charger and it passes charge power through to the iPad as expected. The previous charger I tried was an Anker 18w USB-C 12v car charger but for whatever reason it didn’t pass power through. I’ve tested the SD card reader, the micro SD card reader, the USB A/3 ports (with an external USB-3 spinning hard drive) and the USB-C data ports, all work just fine now. I can get iPad audio out through the USB-C port whilst simultaneously charging the iPad through the PD port. Big thumbs up!!! I’d say the only drawback is the cable is quite short and not swappable. *[previous review] The reason for 4 stars*[now 5 stars!] is that this does not pass power through to my iPad Pro 11” as I’d hoped, so you can’t use the hub and charge the iPad at the same time. On first connecting the charging spund emits abs the battery icon goes green but then a second layer it goes off. I tried with two different power sources (one standard 2.4a USB-A car charger, and one anker PD car charger delivering up to 9v/2a) to rule that out but no luck. It’s possible it will work on a mains charger but I haven’t tried that yet.

Seems to work well for my monitors and USB, but there was a catch. It looks like the hub reserves 25W for itself all the time in power delivery mode. So what I did not expect is that the Surface 5 laptop showed a "slow charge" warning saying the voltage is lower than it needs. Anker pro-actively contacted me and the fix was to buy a USB-C power supply with more wattage (100W in my case).

Het werkt perfect zoals beschreven. Mijn 2 monitoren worden aangedreven, de laptop krijgt de nodige stroom en er is nog ruimte voor andere toebehoren. Wel rekening houden dat de USB c aansluiting kort is en je best even nakijkt voor een USB c verlengkabeltje dat aan bepaalde voorwaarden moet voldoen.

Ik had één probleem: mijn laptop had te weinig poorten. Een bescheiden probleem. Een klein ongemak. Deze hub zei: "Zullen we meteen álles oplossen?" 🔌 Van laptop naar NASA-console Je plugt hem in… en ineens heb je 11 poorten. Elf. Dat is geen uitbreiding meer, dat is een machtsgreep. HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, USB’s, SD-kaarten… Ik mis alleen nog een knop om een raket te lanceren, maar eerlijk: die zit waarschijnlijk in een firmware-update. Volgens de specs krijg je: 10 Gbps data-poorten 4K beeld via HDMI/DisplayPort Ethernet kaartlezers en stroomdoorvoer tot ~100W () Met andere woorden: dit ding zegt tegen je laptop "Je bent meer dan je dacht." 🧠 Gebruikservaring: ik ben nu “die collega” Sinds ik deze hub heb: sluit ik dingen aan die ik niet eens nodig heb zeg ik zinnen als: “even via de hub” kijk ik licht bezorgd naar mensen die nog maar 2 poorten hebben Collega’s denken dat ik IT begrijp. Ik laat ze in die illusie. ⚙️ Bouwkwaliteit: solide als een baksteen (maar dan nuttig) Stevig aluminium, geen gekraak, geen drama. Dit voelt niet als een gadget — dit voelt als gereedschap. En belangrijk: alles werkt gewoon. Geen rare kuren, geen “probeer opnieuw”, geen existential crisis van je laptop. ⚖️ Kleine realiteit-check Het is geen Thunderbolt-dock van €300+, dus: sommige poorten delen bandbreedte niet alles kan tegelijk op maximale snelheid Maar eerlijk: als je dát niveau nodig hebt, zit je al in een andere prijsklasse en waarschijnlijk ook in een andere levensfase. Pluspunten: 11 poorten = absurd veel mogelijkheden 10 Gbps data en 4K display support Ethernet (voor mensen die wifi niet vertrouwen, zoals het hoort) Stevig en professioneel gebouwd Minpunten: – Je gaat dingen aansluiten “omdat het kan” – Je laptop voelt ineens tekortschieten zonder dit ding Conclusie: Dit is geen hub. En dat gevoel… is onbetaalbaar.
