AMIR Upgraded 3.15” Motion Sensor Light Indoor, Cordless Battery Powered Stick on LED Night Lights for Closet, Stair, Under Cabinet, Hallway, Kitchen (Warm White - Pack of 6)

I ordered three of these lights (a 3-pack) and tried them out in a couple of unlit closets at home. They worked great, turning on as soon as you open the cupboard or closet door, or sometimes as soon as you begin to reach inside them, and turning off about 30 seconds after you close the door, or if there is no movement in range of their sensors. Perfect, just what I needed for several dark cupboards and closets in my RV. So I ordered this six pack (slightly better price per light, and I needed more anyway) and installed them a couple of days ago on a trip in the RV. What a difference! We have small, bright LED lights in most of the spaces now, controlled by switches (click on the light to turn it on or off), but they always have dead AAA batteries because we forget to turn them off in the daytime. We have gone through Costco-sized packs of AAA batteries trying to keep our closets and cupboards lit when needed - a constant irritation. These lights are almost as bright - totally sufficient for the task of lighting up a cupboard, and equally up to lighting the tiny closets and storage spaces RVs have. And now I expect the lights and batteries to last for years, since they are rarely turned on. I will comment back if the "motion sensing" elements suck the batteries dry, but with over a thousand reviews at this point (most are positive, and say battery life is not an issue), I am hopeful that our closet and cupboard lighting woes are over for the RV. I'm going to get another 6-pack - maybe two - for the boat, where closets and storage spaces are very similar to an RV, but weird-shaped and plentiful. Finally, this issue is solved for us, loving the product and how it works for me so far! Two things... The double-sided sticky pad used to adhere these puck-shaped and sized lights to ceilings and walls have proved adequate for the task so far. Time will tell if they start to fall off once the glue dries up, or if they are functionally permanent. Note that you can remove the light to change the batteries without disturbing the glue pad. Also, there is a built-in magnet which was adequate to stick these lights to my fridge, and would presumably work on any ferrous metal surface (the boat engine room has many places where light never reaches from the overhead bulbs, so we have to use drop lights on extension cords - bit of a pain - these may help out down there via magnetic mount). It's not a super-strong magnet, but it is adequate provided that the light does not get brushed or bumped.

I received this product yesterday, perfectly wrapped. None of my lights were broken, all are fully functional. I placed the lights along the stairs inside my house and the hallway leading to my elderly mother's room. My mother makes a million bathroom trips in the middle of the night, so these motion sensor lights are perfect for her. The lights illuminate well. They turn on when you're getting close and turn off after you're gone. The lights come with a built in magnet and the option of using sticky strips. The sticky strips hold well, but make sure to place them in the exact location you want. I had to detach one of the lights and place them else where. I slightly struggled getting it off, I was afraid the strip would peel the paint off the wood because of how strong it held, to my surprise it didn't (thank Goodness). I placed one of the lights outside my front porch (to entertain myself), I don't have a light there anyway and I was getting tired of unlocking my door in the dark. Since my door is metal the magnet stuck above the door. I didn't think it would hold but I left it there overnight, in the rain, and humidity, thinking it would fall off in the middle of the night with batteries everywhere. Nope, left for work the next morning and it was still there, holding strong. Overall, I recommend these lights if you're looking for something small, convenient, and in need of good lighting. The truth is, you can't beat the price and it gets the job done.

My only beef with these lights is the adhesive doesn't stick; both of the ones I attached to something fell off. Not a big deal for me; I'll just mount them with Velcro strips. Some of the reviews mentioned that the magnet didn't hold. I have one of mine on a metal dog gate, and it has stayed up. One of the six didn't work at first, but I took the batteries out and reinserted them and made sure the back was on tightly, and then it worked. The lights themselves are great. I have friends visit every year, and as we're all getting older I decided it would be best to have light if anyone gets up in the night. These were very affordable, and with 6 of them I can give one to each friend to use and still have leftovers to put in the bathroom and hallway. They're nice and bright; they might be a bit too bright for a night light for some people, but since they're pretty much at floor level that doesn't bother me. I keep one by my bed that I can pick up and carry with me if need be. The motion sensor range is good; I actually had to turn the one by my bed upside down because it would turn on when I roll over! I haven't had them long enough to speak to battery life, but so far I would definitely recommend them.

Great product. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do & had a decent range of motion. Very easy to change batteries (just twist open) and magnetic back means you can mount it on the kitchen fridge. I didn’t want to stick it to the wall in case it was hard to come off, so in the bathroom I’ve stuck it to some al foil that I wrapped around a standing mirror I have, and works a treat. Very glad I bought these - don’t need to fumble around in the dark with my mobile torch anymore!

Filled these with Amazon Basics alkaline batteries and use them in a long interior hallway. They work as they say creating a usable soft, warm, pleasing light. Not enough to read by, but far better than walking in the dark. All 6 worked right out of the box with no issues. Packaging is fairly minimal, with each light in a bubble pack sleeve packed in a thin cardboard box, but they all arrived with no issue. They pick up movement directly in front a lot further away than at an angle. Used directly pointing a the moving object they turn on 3 to 4 meters away. If approaching at a 60 degree angle they tun on 1 to 2 meters away.
