Easy to use
Easy to use, these Old Farmer's Almanac fertilizer spikes are easier to use than the brand I used before. They stay intact even when I use a mallet to bang them into clay soil. It will be summer before I know if they were good for my shrubs and trees. Here's hoping.

Works Well
I fertilized a Japanese Stewartia tree and a fountain beech tree. I noticed that the stewartia has more flowers than ever before and the beech became fuller with leaves sooner. This works well.

Great product.
I have been using these for a few years now. We planted new trees 3 years ago and some bushes. These spikes are in my opinion why they look so good and healthy. My trees are growing and looking awesome, even though we have been in a severe drought. My bushes have doubled in size.

Does the job
After hurricane these helped my trees green up nicely. Easy install but crack and break a lot when installing. Would dig the hole before I would try to drive in with hammer for best results.

Great for bushes & trees
I use these in the Fall before the ground freezes. My bushes look great in the spring. I also use the when I do new plantings of bushes to give them a good start. Highly recommend.

I liked these stakes. Apparently so do the plants that got them. More reasonably priced than I could find locally.

Easy to install
I see some complaining about difficulty installing these spikes. I found a very easy method. I use a small pickax and with one swipe of the pointed end I create a hole about 8 inches deep, put the spike in and just press down on it with the pickax inverted.. The spike disappears down the hole below ground level. I installed 12 spikes in about six minutes.
