lasting forever
This one seems to be lasting much longer than the same ones I purchased a few years ago. I've cut so much rebar and nails, and still have a lot of blade left over!

These Makita grinder wheels are top-notch,
Very strong and long lasting. Engineered for the best cut possible. Cheaper and better than anything you can get at Home Depot.

Easy to change, easy to use
The X-Lock system is fantastic. When I'm angry enough at a piece of metal to pull out the angle grinder, I generally don't have the IQ or the syllables to operate a pin spanner or a wrench. Even a ticked-off caveman can quickly change out X-Lock discs.

Proprietary
Was i warned that i would need to buy expensive proprietary blades in order to supply my new tool? I was not. I do love the tool and I do love the quick release thing that it comes with. But i'm not in love with having to buy expensive blades, not from lowe's. Not that I love blows or anything, but it's just right around the corner. That's where I live. The blades themselves work just fine
