Nice starter kit
Honestly, the tree spurs are the best part, I used the kit to learn/decide if I was up to this new hobby. It did just that. But after deciding I really liked it, i bought a real flip line with a steel core, and a real harness. The belt is uncomfortable, and the strap/flip line is really short. This was the perfect thing to get me started, and the price is really good, even if it was just for the spikes.

I didn’t like it.
Quality seems to be bad. Size of the belt too small even I am a thin person.

Garbage
This thing cannot fit a 10 year old. Everything in the box is too small and inferior. I bought it in August and finally opened the box to try it in October and it’s nothing but crap. It’s now too late to send it back so I guess I’m stuck with this box of crap.

Tree climbing gears
This gear is ok but not real good quality and the safety rope is not long enough to wrap around a big tree

Quality somewhat lacking in some aspects
Pretty cheap and nasty ropes and clevises. One I had to throw away as it would not even clip together. Haven’t used yet but hopefully the climbing boots work fine

Works perfectly
I am a HAM Radio operator and typically use a wire antenna. These antennas are not the easiest to setup. I have tried using Sling shots, fishing poles, and even borrowed a friends drone to fly the wire up, That was interesting. Nothing beats just climbing up and placing the antenna exactly where I want it to go. These climbing spikes makes it simple. strap them on and secure yourself with a safety harness and you won't fall down the tree. As long as you have leg strength and take your time it can be done quickly and easily. My neighbor wants to borrow them to remove some limbs from a tree in his back yard as well.

Cheap and Unsafe
(The straps that mount to the feet are insecure so once your foot slips around when you want to pull out of the trunk. The waist strap for around the tree is too short. The only trees it might be able to do are 1ft around and calf support is held together with zip ties.

Image doesn't what I received
Image shows: Pair of Climbing spikes, Protective Belt, Belt with snap rings, Protective Rope, Foot and Ankle Straps, Gloves. Got everything except the Belt with snap rings.

Not as expected
The spikes are too short and very uncomfortable. They don't support your legs as those with two embedded fastners. I wish I had chosen the adjustable spikes. Definitely not for a 6 foot man.
