Manufactured by Saint-Gobain, it resists fuel-induced swelling and cracking, ensuring leak-free, long-lasting performance. Its translucent yellow color allows easy flow monitoring, making it the go-to choice for professionals refreshing or upgrading fuel systems with confidence. ## Description Tygon F-4040-A PVC Fuel And Lubricant Tubing, 5' Length, Transparent Yellow. Flexible Tubing for Small Engines Specifically designed to handle most fuels and industrial lubricants, Tygon F-4040-A lubricant and fuel tubing resists the swelling and hardening caused by hydrocarbon-based fluids. This significantly reduces the risk of failure due to cracking and leakage. Its minimum extractability safeguards the liquid or vapor being transferred against adulteration. Because it is extremely flexible, Tygon F-4040-A tubing for small engines simplifies installation, even in tight places. It is translucent yellow for positive identification and to allow easy flow monitoring and is routinely used to handle gasoline, kerosene, heating oils, cutting compounds and glycol-based coolants. Review: Great high quality fuel line, perfect for refreshing old WaveRunner fuel hoses - I used this Tygon F-4040-A fuel line to redo the fuel lines on both of my Yamaha XLT1200s, and it’s been a solid upgrade from the old, brittle hoses. It cuts clean, slides onto and fits the fittings well, and once clamped it seals up nicely without fighting it. The tubing is flexible without feeling flimsy, routes cleanly, and so far it’s holding up great with no leaks or weird softening. If you’re rebuilding/refreshing an older fuel system and want something that feels like the “right stuff” instead of generic hose, this has been worth it. Just make sure you measure your ID/OD before ordering so you get the correct size. Review: Just what I needed - This hose is just exactly what I needed for my '07 Yamaha TW200. I added an in-line 90 degree filter to augment the system and now it's all complete. ## Features - ID: 1/4" - OD: 3/8" - 5' Length - Genuine Saint-Gobain Tygon Tubing ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07H3ZL5QY | | Best Sellers Rank | 325,426 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 149 in Automotive Fuel Injection Oil Supply Lines | | Brand | TARSONS WITH THE WORDS TRUST DELIVERED | | Colour | Yellow | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 400 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 152.4L x 1W centimetres | | Item Length | 1.5 Metres | | Item Weight | 0.08 Kilograms | | Item weight | 0.08 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Saint-Gobain | | Material | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Nominal Wall Thickness | 0.25 inch | | Nominal wall thickness | 0.25 inch | | Outside Diameter | 0.38 Inches | | Product dimensions | 152.4L x 1W centimetres | | UPC | 670628180929 769079144380 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** TARSONS WITH THE WORDS TRUST DELIVERED - **Colour:** Yellow - **Item length:** 60 Inches - **Item weight:** 0.08 Kilograms - **Manufacturer:** Saint-Gobain - **Material:** Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) - **Nominal wall thickness:** 0.25 inch - **Outside diameter:** 0.38 Inches - **Product dimensions:** 152.4L x 1W centimetres - **UPC:** 670628180929 769079144380 ## Images ![OEM Tygon F-4040-A Premium Cut Length Fuel Line 1/4" ID X 3/8" OD X 5' Feet - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41oKD33496L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this fuel hose submersible? Can it withstand laying inside the gas tank?** A: Yes. It will not swell like rubber hose. I have it submerged in a Farris zero turn. No problems so far. **Q: Genuine tygon tubing is branded all along the length, can anyone tell me what the tubing says?** A: "SAINT-GOBAIN Tygon (R) F-4040-A" is inkjet printed in white every foot or so on the yellow tubing. **Q: will this connect to an 5/16 npt thread?** A: No the 1/4 ID hose will not fit over 5/16 pipe. You will need to go to ACE and in the brass plumbing section get adapter and 1/4 hose barb **Q: I'm guessing you need a 9mm i.d. clamp? or 8mm clamp?because you'd want to squeeze it to something just under 3/8"?** A: I used a 1/4” worm drive clamp with no issues ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great high quality fuel line, perfect for refreshing old WaveRunner fuel hoses *by A***R on 3 January 2026* I used this Tygon F-4040-A fuel line to redo the fuel lines on both of my Yamaha XLT1200s, and it’s been a solid upgrade from the old, brittle hoses. I added an in-line 90 degree filter to augment the system and now it's all complete. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality fuel line. *by J***K on 24 January 2025* Good stuff. I bought some other similar fuel line, but was shocked at how unbelievably brittle it was.. would turn solid as a rock as soon as fuel was run through it.. you could get the fuel line on, but could never get it off without breaking it. This stuff though is great. Have reconnected several times, and trusted it to replace all existing 40 year old fuel lines. ## Frequently Bought Together - OEM Tygon F-4040-A Premium Cut Length Fuel Line 1/4" ID X 3/8" OD X 5' Feet - Tygon Genuine F-4040-A Premium Cut Length Fuel Line (ID: 3/16" OD: 5/16") (5 Feet) - Tygon Genuine F-4040-A Premium Cut Length Fuel Line (ID: 1/8" OD: 1/4") (5) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/463905300-oem-tygon-f-4040-a-premium-cut-length-fuel-line](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/463905300-oem-tygon-f-4040-a-premium-cut-length-fuel-line) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
