Did I get the conversion correct, this hold about 4 oz. of water? This would make this almost useless.

True the stream is more akin to a pee stream but it does work well for me and I have a big ass.

What about water pressure, is it similar to normal bidet spray?

Definitely not as strong a water pressure as other sprayers., and no where close to a normal bidet spray. Also, not rechargeable. I suppose it's better than nothing, but barely.

Battery information very confusing. no batteries required, but then says aaa batteries and leithum ion batteries. what exactly do i need and where?

Moenasha Kinlaw's video review is great in showing you how to get the battery compartment open! There is a little handle that flips up on the end so that you can turn the door to open it.

To be honest with you, it looks like it might be an adult sex toy with a cover on it and almost the same size
