AXIS-Y Biome Comforting Infused Toner 200ml

I bought this on a whim after watching a sponsored video by James Welsh. I know he only accepts sponsors if he genuinely loves and approves of a product so I trusted his judgment and I'm glad I did! I usually use Paula's Choice, Klairs, Hero etc but I've had good experiences in the past with Axis-Y. I shake it up really well then pour some onto a toner pad and swipe onto my face. It has a very thin consistency with a little more viscosity than water. It has a very, very subtle and pleasant scent. It doesn't burn my skin at all, in fact it feels very comforting. It hydrates well too. I also feel like it helps heal my acne a little faster than usual and my pores seem smaller and clearer. I have absolutely zero complaints and will continue to use and purchase this!

This is the first product I've used from Korean AXIS-Y under the name Made for Me by Me. I had no expectations, I rarely do, it's not fair to the product. Being a member of the Vine Program, I test a lot of skin care products & for that reason I've learned a considerable amount about ingredients, formulations, percentages, combinations etc. It may have been because this toner is in relatively unassuming packaging, in an unassuming colour - I don't know but it really doesn't matter - what does matter is the surprise, a very pleasant one, I experienced when I used it for the first time. I had to do a double take in the mirror. My skin was glowing. I wondered if I had done anything different, anything that could account for this glow & nope, not a thing. I checked the ingredients & I saw that it had Mugwort* (not the best name for something to put on the skin, lol) AND Centella Asiatica both known for being extremely gentle for use on skin. It also has a number of other soothing & hydrating ingredients. I tried the toner repeatedly at other times & each time my skin looked & felt great. *I have a Mugwort serum, for a different brand which leaves an incredible glow on my skin. Just out of this world. Being a member of the Vine Program, I test a lot of skin care products, at various price points, & for that reason I've learned a considerable amount about ingredients, formulations, percentages, combinations etc. That said, this is the first skin care product that I'VE encountered that has prebiotics & probiotics designed to focus on the skin's microbiome that sells at this relatively low price point. This toner says it has "5 kinds of mineral-rich probiotics and prebiotics [which] are included in the special “Biome* Blend”. *"Biomes in skincare products refer to the skin's microbiome, which is the collection of microorganisms and bacteria that live on the skin. Biotic skincare products are designed to nurture the skin's microbiome, and are often infused with biome-specific ingredients like pre-, pro-, and postbiotics". The toner has a natural earthy scent that doesn't come from fragrance but from the ingredients. There is a substantial amount of toner which makes this an unbeatable purchase in terms of value for money. After this toner is finished, I will be purchasing more & I also intend to investigate other products in the Made for Me by Me collection. It is available as a set which includes the toner, serum or essence, an enhanced night balm, & a supporting concentrate. My rating reflects my use of this toner for a few weeks. After longer use, if anything worth mentioning occurs, I'll be back to edit &/or update. Hope this helped you with making your decision. Good luck!

This is a great toner. I’ve only just started using, but I like how it feels. Happy with purchase

I have been using this toner for some time now and I like it as far as toners go, but I don't notice anything different or see any different results from the toner I normally use. This is nice and the fragrance is not offensive. It does feel nice when I use it after cleansing my face and I am happy with that. I feel that the price is a little higher than I am used to paying and I have not experienced anything much different. It is a nice product, but I don't feel it is super special so justify the price.
