Value. I needed to set up a snow depth to monitor snowfall rates in northern ny. Given it's a tape measure accuracy it offers is important. Being yellow offers great readability which allows great ease of use. Great quality.

I have been looking for one of these for many years. After Stanley discontinued their Inside measuring tape model, I couldn't find one anywhere. This is an excellent and accurate tape measure. It makes inside measurements so much easier, quicker and much more accurate. It has a very good locking mechanism which allows you to take a measurement, lock it and remove the tape to read the measurement in the window without it effecting the measurement. I have really missed this type of tape measure and plan to get more of them in case they stop making them. Photos show measuring for shelves in a custom cabinet.

Great tape for taking inside measurements. My one request for the manufacturer if possible. Could you improve the tape bearing inside for a smoother pull out and retract in function. Also, could you make the metal tape stronger so that it can pull out further without bending. I would pay a little extra for this if you could make it a more heavy duty version of this tape. I own a business and take a lot of window screen measurements with this. “Heavy use”

I've been a DIYer most of my life, and the one thing that has been the bane of my existence has been the infamous "inside measure". Anyone who has ever measured the inside of a window frame in order to get the proper width for a shade or blind knows exactly what I'm talking about. This tape really does care of that. Doing mental gymnastics trying to figure out inside measurments by adding the length size of your regular tape to the inside measurement is gone. Good. I like this thing, and I use it. It is at least as accurate as a regular carpenters tape when you figure in the fudge factor. I like it, and I use it. Buy one.

I really liked this tape measure.. So clear and easy to use. However, I dropped it accidentally and the tape popped out of the case. I could not get it to go back in no matter how I tried. Very disappointed at the quality and lack of durability.

I bought this measuring tape because my eyesight is poor, I thought it would be easier for me to read the measurements using the window on the tape. Unfortunately because of the small readings on the tape and the curser line, it was harder to read the measurements then it was on my Stanely Fat Max. If the window on the tape had a magnifying glass instead of the plastic lens to enlarge the readings on the tape I would have kept the tape, but as of now I'm sending it back for a refund. I get my inside measurements by putting two thin pieces of wood together and spreading them apart until they touch the sides of the object I'm measuring, squeeze them together, measure from end to end for the exact measurement. You get the exact measurement every time,

I have had a French made Mabo Supermatic tape measure for over 50 years. It has the ability to read inside distances in a window on top. This one does too and is easier to read. I compared them side by side and they measured the same. If you want to measure inside distances such as inside a window, this is an easy solution. I think that it is well made for the price.
