Siless Max 120 mil 30 sqft Car Sound Deadening mat - Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener - Noise Insulation and Vibration Dampening Material

Used this on both my F-150 and Honda Civic. Did the floor pan, doors and back wall in the F150. It’s nice that it’s 50% thicker than the thin stuff along with the Aluminum coating for some heat dissipation . It was easier to install than just plain butyl rubber in the summer heat, the indents made it easy to see when it was properly set and rolled and easy to cut. Definitely recommend for the price point. Made a huge difference in exhaust noise and the sound system sounds much tighter as well as a result of less vibration and noise intrusion. I used this in combination with the Siless Hybrid to cover both vibration reduction and sound infiltration.

I imagine most of these things are fairly comparable, but I bought this one because it was what a guy used on YouTube for my exact problem on my exact rig. I bought a new Ford Ranger Lariat and I noticed that if I close the doors slightly hard or with the windows doors open, they sound like tinny trash. Not what you would expect from a $50k vehicle. Watched a YouTube video to get the confidence to start and finish the project and it was super easy. I didn't do as many layers or in as much detail that the guy did, but it solved my sound concern. Since there is enough left over after doing the doors, I may do the headliner at some point. One thing I got that I feel was worth was a roller to press on. It seems unnecessary, but it definitely helps adhere the panels better so they are more secure. So worth it to me for sure.

Made a world of difference in my 05 gmc canyon helps with sound vibration in my old truck good quality a little heavy but thats expected very versatile you can place them anywhere I removed all my carpet and everything and did my whole cabin worth the money

As long as the surface is thoroughly cleaned, these mats will stick to just about anything. They provide my car with a tremendous amount of sound dampening and have made riding in the car 10 times more enjoyable. I drive a Toyota Yaris and although the engine is built like it's meant to last forever (imagine that), the rest of the car is not of high quality. Which means we used to get A LOT of noise coming from the road, other cars, etc. After I installed these mats which, by the way, I wasn't able to install on every surface I wanted to install them on (due to lack of tools to be able to disassemble certain parts of the interior), the noise coming from outside the car is nearly completely gone. I covered the underside of my hood, the entire interior part of the hatchback, most of the floor in the trunk / spare tire well, and the entire interior side of the doors. The parts I couldn't get to (or didn't want to) were: the ceiling, underneath the driver & passenger seats, behind the dash and the floor for the 2nd row seating. As you can see I left a lot of surfaces untreated with this product AND STILL it blocks most of the sound. To note: people recommended getting the roller tools to help install these mats. I got a few of them in different sizes and they worked O K. Not because of the quality of the tool but because some places you need to install these mats in don't have enough clearance to use the tool. That being said, for the larger surfaces, the roller tools help a lot. Also I found it very beneficial to use aluminum tape while installing these. The tape I used is specifically designed for materials that undergo high temperature changes (like your dryer vents, etc.). This wasn't because the mats were not sticky enough but because there were some places I installed the mats with small gaps between them. I'd also recommend getting some kind of fluffy insulation-type material for large spaces that need noise dampening. Rock wool, for example, worked great for me. As an example, the interior sides of the 2nd row seating walls had large spaces between the plastic interior cover and the metal part of the car wall. I'd install the mats on the metal but was left with 6" - 7" of space between it and the plastic cover. I chose to fill those spots (and spots like it) with insulation which provided EVEN MORE noise dampening.

This sound deadening material is great for the price its fairly easy to install. you will go through several blades when cutting this. it doesn't smell when you install it. if you put it in a high heat area it may smell for the first hour till everything burns off. the sheets are nice because they are big so you can get a lot done quickly. overall pretty good. I will say there probably better stuff on the market but if you are doing a bunch of jobs that are not super important then these will do fine. the sound deadening is probably 80 precent of dynamat or other name brand product.

This did an amazing job of reducing road noise and any rattle from new door speakers. I am really impressed. I run a/t tires on my 4runner and I don't get any hum at all at highway speeds!

Works fantastic. Super sticky & pliable rubber. Good thickness, really deadens sound. You need to put closed cell foam on top of this product to be most effective. Very happy

Used this product to deaden a pair of large speaker cabinets, great product to work with, used a pair of metal sheers to cut and trim the material which worked well, cleaned the MDF and it adhered very well too. The speaker cabinets sound much better now, when knocking on them they sound much less empty or hollow, playback sounds cleaner and has less echo as well. Overall very pleased with the outcome. For application I also purchased a metal roller which was a must, I couldn't imagine applying this much by hand alone.

Very impressed with the quality for the price, paired this with Siless 3in1 Hybrid and lined my truck doors and there’s a noticeable difference in the cab noise and audio quality I applied it to my front and back doors which used to sound like my fenders here’s a comparison of sorts
