Bought a used controller from GameStop - mistake. Don't do it. They go on sale for 55, the same price, na couple times a month.Ended up with a bad battery. Replaced the battery and the r1/r2 wasn't working. I remember thinking the little ribbon cables looked like they'd been beat up a bit, the screws all had been overtightened and cracked the housing, and one clip was broken off, the other was bent. Last time I ever buy a used controller without taking it apart first. I replaced the case as it wouldn't tighten down all the way, and in the process the ribbon cable on the right side tore.Anyway, got these as my first troubleshoot to fix that, dropped in, wiped down the conductive film, and it fixed right up.

My ps5 controller x button stopped responding so I opened it to clean it with alcohol. Once attempting to re-assemble I snapped the right ribbon cable. Oddly all the buttons now worked on the home screen but when bringing up a game or media app the controller didn't respond at all.Bought and installed this cable and its working like new.Note: I wouldn't use the little metal pick that that this kit comes with as metal will rip up the controller plastic. I used a thick guitar pick to help open the controller without damaging it.

Managed to fix my controller with this piece. Probably the best gaming decision I've made so far.

Cool but a pain to do. Really not worth the time to be honest. Dose not stand out that much unless you spend time staring at controller.

I had spilled soda on my controller and the touchpad was sticky, I took the controller apart to clean it. When I put it back together the X button wasn’t working. Figured out when I had put it back together I must of pinched the flex cable and the controller was thinking It was “stuck”holding L2 down button. In the end replacing the flex cable for L1 and L2 was the fix. Would highly recommend it.

Hey guys. I tried this product even though someone said it was bad, it's not bad.It's exactly the same size as original.Plugged the ribbon in L1 L2 and it worked great.No worries mate, it worked great!I only gave it four stars because I read more 3 and 4 star reviews, mostly 3 stars.Anyways, same size and works good.

Disappointed one wire worked and one did not and tools they gave me poked a hole in the wire so no good now very disappointed cheap quality items
