I read in the manual that this supports lacp. can i connect 2x 1gb fiber connections into a single connection with this switch?

Link Aggregation Control Protocol links ports and defines the way switches can communicate. I don't believe this switch has fiber ports but you could use 2 - 1gb Ethernet connections.

Can this device be a dhcp server and hand out addresses?
