ISEE V Part Human Hair Half Wig Kinky Curly U Part Wig for Women 14 Inch

I ordered this wig 07/11 & today is 08/24. I wanted to wait a few weeks to leave a honest review since I see mixed reviews about this hair company. When I initially got the wig fresh out the box the hair was very soft & I could easily run my hair thru it. there was a new hair smell but nothing bad & it did shed quite a bit when I really started raking thru it (I didnt mind since its curly hair + after washing/detangling the shedding was minimal). I have 4C hair so of course I was literally nervous about this wig looking a mess & not blending & I refused to flat iron my leave out when the whole point was to avoid heat & have something easy to throw on. The initial curl pattern is nice but the true pattern came out after I throughly washed & conditioned the wig & it was stunning (1ST PHOTO). It comes with an elastic band & a bunch of clips around the perimeter to secure it on your head. I didnt bother using the band cause it made the wig fit funny. Since this is my first v part wig I blew out my hair (kinky straight) & tried to blend my leave out & it was a NIGHTMARE😭😭😭 my hair was just too kinky for the texture of the wig after putting all kinds of products recommended by ppl on tiktok & NONE OF IT WORKED. I went back to the drawing board & realized I just needed a product that wouldn’t cause my hair to shrink but also make it curl. I used EDGE CONTROL & just like that MAGIC! The hair is a dream! It maintained its softness & I realized the more I wear it the better it looks. It sheds like normal curly hair & it’s so easy to style. My only cons was that this wig didn’t come with a drawstring in the back so the wig was big! The clips that are the closest to the perimeter aren't placed to the very edge of the wig so when you clip it onto your head theres a weird flap of wig/hair that doesn't lay flat cause the clip is too far back. i usually just bobby pin both sides down but its annoying. YOU HAVE TO STYLE THE WIG. Since it was my first v part wig I got 22 inches cause i knew i was going to cut layers for it to be more seamless. I watched a youtube tutorial (curly cut) since I’m not a professional. The wig behaves perfectly with mousse and water. I tried curl creams but I don't recommend it since the hair becomes a birds nest in the nape area way quicker so just stick with a good mousse & water only & your all set. Do not leave out a-lot of hair ! My #1 issue when I first got the unit was leaving out too much hair which made it way harder to blend since my hair is kinkier than the wig. Overall i wouldn't say it’s a perfect match for kinkier hair but you can make it look good if you find the right products for your hair. I get a lot of compliments & people wondering if this is my natural hair so its getting the job done. You do not need to slick it back or straighten it for the look you're going for! I do plan on trying a kinkier texture half wig in the future but I do recommend this if you just want something low maintenance. Pics for reference!

Honestly wish I could give this zero stars. I bought this hair based off of TikTok reviews. The hair itself isn’t the problem but the SMELL. I have washed this hair NINE TIMES (probably more) and still cannot get the smell out. I was SO embarrassed to pull this wig out of my bag (after washing) as it STILL had a strong odor (I tried light/cool blow drying, air drying in the house and outdoors AND air drying in my car with the windows down. Not only did I end up not wearing the wig due to the awful stomach turning smell but I couldn’t wear it because it was TOO BIG. No matter how I adjusted the elastics and applied the clips it just didn’t fit. I don’t have an incredibly small head (I would assume an average size). I wonder if this is better suited for larger heads/ppl with THICK hair that take up a lot of space? Anyways, unfortunately I won’t be wearing this wig. A waste of my money. I had to cut the structure string to ensure the wig would fit my head as a v part with leave out and because of this (and probably bc I washed it) I likely am unable to return/exchange this. This is the worst product I’ve purchased from Amazon so far bc of the fit and smell. I would be ashamed to walk around with this on my head with such a strong stench. Otherwise length and curl pattern are nice.

I purchase wigs quite often and I’d been looking for a longer kinky curly wig that didn’t have lace or a headband. I previously purchased the headband wig from ISEE and was impressed with it so after reading through reviews on the V-part, I decided to take a chance. This wig is bomb! The picture is the unit on my head straight out of the box and with minimal leave out. The texture is really nice (FYI, not very kinky but you can tease it and get more volume…kinda rough it up a bit), it’s light and soft, minimal shedding, no smell. Also with me having black hair (between 1 and 1b), it matches very well so I don’t have to dye like I normally do (may vary based on your hair color though). I will say that if you’re 4B/4C, you will more than likely have difficulty blending if you plan on having leave out. It is possible if you use some edge control to straighten out and finger curl your hair to make it match or do a twist or braid out with your hair and the wig hair with some type of product that will mold it well. This is my tip for minimal leave out through (what I did in the picture): bring the pairs of clips together in the middle with no part and clip them down (so most of your hair is under the wig), then bring some of the hair from one side to the other. Pull out a tiny bit of leave out on the edges and use edge control to lay those. It is virtually unclockable! Obviously this method means it will be hard to wear it with a defined part or with the hair in the middle (vs. parted to one side), but it is truly a seamless way to wear it. This will be perfect for summertime - really anytime!

This is an awesome last minute style, if you simply crochet some pieces into your cornrows by the top and have just a whisper of hair for leave out. It looks seamless. I swam in this hair, partied in this hair and then went to a business conference with this hair. Look up U part wig crochet method, not only does it secure the hair from sliding off but it’s like having a sew in but you can easily removed, wash and condition the hair and your hair just as easy. The hair does shed a bit but it’s super soft and easily manageable just pop with condition and mousse to refresh.

Great wig… overall, very manageable . Does not shed much, this hair is very thick, has lots of volume. I did have to trim it to fit my face and style it. My complaint was about the size of the cap on the wig . It’s very very big, to the point I had to cut some of the wig and make a whole project out of it and sew it myself back together . Also, another complaint was the cap needs more clips. Again, something I had to sew on myself … lowkey wish they had a option for cap size because not everyone has same size head . Other than that, the hair is beautiful . Curls are very defined . Definitely good density. Good quality . Everyone thinks this hair is my hair, it’s very easy to blend . Not sure how long it will last but I do plan on sewing it into my braids and testing it out.

First things first this company must be tired of people saying that this wig is funky lol I opened the pack expecting a strong, stinky smell, and the wig did not smell. Actually it had a perfume smell to it but not a perfume smell trying to cover up something else. The wig did not smell at all. I washed and conditioned the wig and put it on after I got it put on I used some foam gel and some water to blend. My hair texture is exactly like this hair so it blended really well. I cut it a little bit because it was too long. I got the 24 inch and could have went down a size or two. This wig is very soft easy to manage and beautiful. The picture that I posted with the wig on is semi dry ladies don’t wait. I was so confused by the reviews, but I’m so glad that I purchased this wig now I’m hoping that the reviews about the wig not lasting is not true lol but I would purchase again even if that was the case. Edit Day 6: Also the wig cap is big so be prepared for that the back lifts a lot but because the hair is so full it does cover it up, have had the wig installed 6 days now still beautiful and ppl think it’s my real hair. I don’t know where to start so this might be a long one.. I’m an everyday wig wearer because of hormonal hair loss and have brought a lot of wigs. I really wanted to like this wig but it’s a no for me. Maybe a yes for some just depends on your style. Day 1: the package came early which I was very happy about. When I opened the package, the wig smelled like chemicals and smelled horrible but I over looked it. I was expecting a s curl pattern based off the pictures but it was was a water wave curl pattern(this didn’t bother me a lot but took me aback). The wig was looking a little shorter than 26inch but I figured it was because of the tight curl and assumed the curls would drop over time. I washed the wig and the water was brown. I had to wash the wig 3 times to get the smell and brown out of the wig. I set the wig with mousse eco styler and some clips to hold down the curls and let it sit over night. Day 2: The wig was looking nice! I was happy and it was blending nicely with my hair texture but she was THICK and still short. Like can’t put it into a pony tail or clip thick. So I cut some layers holding that would help with the thickness. By the end of the day the hair was a more kinky texture and tangling up. I ran home to put some more mousse and gel in it and it was not working. I just gave up bought a big clip and clipped it up. I took it off at night sprayed with water and set it and prayed for the best. Day 3: the wig just looks crazy. It’s knotted up/matted together and super thick. It looks like a kinky Afro which would be cute if that was the look it was going for but it wasn’t. At this point I don’t know what to do I may just flat iron it and buy another curly wig from somewhere else….. I loveeee this hair. I’ve had it for a while now. I’ve styled it, combed it, cut it into layers and it’s very very nice. The hair is THICK and easy to comb through unlike most curly units lol. Yes, there is a chemical smell because this is not raw hair (DUH!). This hair is most likely heavily processed in order to produce this hair texture. Do not expect raw hair quality. I advise to not wash this unit with a clarifying shampoo. For the price this unit is very nice! It doesn’t shed imo like little to none and the hair is soft asf but I also put in a leave in conditioner so maybe that’s why lol. I was a bit skeptical because of some of the bad reviews but no yeah this wig is bomb for a curly unit. I plan on buying from this company again and using this wig for months. I am not a texture expert but this hair is definitely a CURLY 3C, 4A… MAYBE 4B texture range. Definitely not 4C KINKY hair friendly.
