I did something terrible to my middle finger. I was using a Mandolin Slicer for potatoes and ended up in the ER instead. A potato got stuck and trying to dislodge it I accidentally sliced part of the side of my finger off. It’s Day 8 and it’s healing, but since I sliced it so deep it still hasn’t closed yet, so I still need to bandage and protect it. I saw these finger splints when I was looking for stretch gauze, but I took a chance on this being a better option, and I’m so happy I did. I can use only a thin non stick gauze over the wound, and instead of winding several layers of stretch gauze over it to protect it as it heals, I am using the brace to do basically the same thing. Using the thinner gauze materials with the brace allows my finger to get better air flow since it’s summer and it’s like a hot box for my finger when it’s wrapped in layers of gauze. Using this brace is so much more comfortable and the brace is very light in weight, but still solid protection. I bought Finger Bandages to pull over my finger to keep the gauze over my wound in place and it’s thin enough that I don’t feel any extra pressure inside the splint. The finger bandage keeps me from coming in direct contact with the foam inside the brace. I don’t have an aversion to the foam, its super soft, I just want to keep it clean so I can continue to use it longer. So far I have not experienced the splint slipping off my finger, I did cover the Velcro with paper tape since I found it more comfortable this way. I’ll keep you updated if it doesn’t work out, but something tells me this is going to work perfectly for me.

i have arithtis. concerned one finger joint moving used brace to keep in alignment. helped pain and velcro allowed me to adjust for swelling. wish i had thought of trying this for other finger joints. i imagine works as well for other things. who knew u could ask for something for joint pain and amazonpulls up amazing products

Effective and cheap. I found the smaller one a bit too long for "mallet finger" on pinky, leaving quite a bit of space at tip since you do NOT want to inhibit movement of second joint. I ended up using wire cutters to remove the metal past the first fastener from the tip on the medium one and scissors to cut the foam. This yielded the perfect length... enough to prevent bending of the first joint, allow bending of the second joint, and without that awkward extra space at the tip if you use the smallest one.

Incredibly comfortable to wear. The adjustable straps ensure a snug fit, but not too tight, which helps in minimizing any discomfort. The material is soft yet sturdy, which strikes a perfect balance between support and flexibility. I appreciate the versatility of the three different sizes included in the pack. This variety means I can use them for different fingers or adjust as needed. They are easy to put on and take off, which is a huge plus when dealing with daily activities. It’s a reliable, high-quality product that has significantly aided in my recovery. If you’re dealing with a finger injury or need some extra support, I highly recommend giving these a try. They’re worth every penny! The only drawback is that it is a bit stiff at time.

I'm very pleased with the Sopito Finger Splint, 3PCS Finger Support Brace set. I've had a similar splint for a while, but with my latest injury it's been showing signs of aging, use, and thinning cushions. I found these Sopito Finger Splint, 3PCS Finger Support Braces on Amazon and order, they arrived quickly, which I was thrilled about, and I got one on right away. I'm really happy. The cushions are thick and comfortable, they are easy to get on - I do have my wife do the initial wrapping to figure out tightness, then tend to slide my finger in and out so I don't have to redo it - especially when it's my dominant hand. I'm not all that coordinated with my non-dominant hand, so I can't get them properly set/tightened. The set comes with 3 pieces, small, medium, and large, good for a range of hand sizes and needs. At this price point (at the time of this review the set is $7.99) it's a good deal. They are at once "disposable," but if these last like the one they are replacing, it'll be a good long time. The two velcro strips are removable, which should mean they could be washed and/or replaced. Overall the Sopito Finger Splint, 3PCS Finger Support Brace set is a great find and I'm happy to have them to protect my fingers.

These go on easily and conform to the finger well. That said, the included white Velcro strap is useless. It is difficult to get it tight and then it is so thick it irritates the next finger over. I removed the straps and will find a use for them in the workshop as wire ties. Next I removed the aluminum piece the strap went through to get it out of the way. Finally I used medical tape to secure the splint in place. Now they work, but I should not have to put forth such effort. The whole time I was working on them my broke fingers were in a cast made of popcicle sticks and electrical tape. This was inconvenient to say the least. Get better straps.

I had surgery on my finger, and this helped me during my healing process. I kept them in my first aid kit, and I'm glad I did! My daughter had a fracture on her finger, and this came in handy. Worked better than the split the orthopedic put on her finger, which lasted one day. I appreciate the functionality that allows you to take it off when needed. The cushion inside helped keep my finger comfortable, while the outside steel-like material provided strong protection.
