Bought this during Amazon Prime Days for a Spring 2024 trip to Jackson Hole WY. It was marked $50.00 off. I had researched You Tube for a compact travel tripod I could pack for airplane travel and scoured every " for sale used site" for this one on line and found not even one. My thinking was, if no one was selling theirs's, they must like it. So I checked during the Prime sale and there it was. Into the cart it went. It arrived on "prime" time and my husband unpacked it and set it up. I have been admiring it ever since. It is light weight for sure but seems sturdy. The legs have a nice attractive pattern and a smooth feel. (something a woman would make note of, right?) It is quick to set up. Temperatures are above 100 degrees in Texas right now, so it has not been out for a 'critter shoot' field test. When it cools off I will take it out and then give another review. It does have a hook on the center column for a weight. I should also say I bought this to use with a mirrorless camera setup, and expect it will handle that just fine. Now would I attach a large DSLR camera with a 'honkin big' super zoom lens? Maybe not. But I don't own one so I can't verify that one way or the other. Right now, I really like this tripod.

The Sirui AM124 tripod sets the bar high when it comes to stability, especially for its size and weight. I found it to be exceptionally sturdy, even in challenging windy conditions. I toped it with a Sirui VA-5 head and it holds my optics firmly without worrying about any unwanted movement or vibrations.The build quality is impressive. This tripod is extremely well designed and built. I have an Induro cf setup that’s not very travel friendly and this tripod is about half the size when folded up. It’s well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an extremely portable well built tripod. I’m currently using it with my Induro ball head.

Bought this for a spotting scope stand after returning another and doing some research on review. It is great light weight and when combined with a nice pan head is a great unit. Sturdiness is 4 star but its a trade off for light weight. Have not tried adding weight to the tripod for steadiness, I'm sure that will help.

haven't used it much so far but think it is sturdy and easy to level and setup . looking forward to using it a lot more

Tripod is absolutely okay. However, if you value the included bag, the part stinks miserably of chemicals. A week of airing on the terrace has not changed anything so far.

Livré dans un sac sobre et de bonne facture qui contient des vis supplémentaires et des clés allen, ce trépied est robuste, mais léger. Je l’ai pris avec la rotule AM-01 qui est sûre et facile à manier. Les 4 sections de chaque pied se serrent par vissage (un demi-tour suffit), et les vis de serrage sont en caoutchouc épais, ce qui est pratique quand on ne les voit pas ou quand il fait froid. L’angle se règle par cliquet en alu bleu anodisé. Il me semble que le ressort qui maintient le cliquet sous tension serait le premier truc à lâcher, mais on verra. Les pics au bout de chaque pied sont rétractables. Le fabricant se vante de son faible encombrement du fait d’une colonne centrale triangulaire. Pour moi, c’est surtout le poids qui importe. Ce trépied est tout à fait comparable à ses concurrents à cet égard et me semble mieux construit et plus solide que le vénérable Manfrotto qu’il remplace.Je le recommande sans hésitation pour les randonnées (paysages et macros). Un support en L (pas fourni) serait nécessaire pour les panos.

Premetto che ho sempre usato un cavalletto dal peso di un Ancora!!é davvero un ottimo prodotto niente da dire, lo uso prevalentemente con Tele 100/400 Leica e non fa una piega!sono molto soddisfatto.unica nota negativa è la spedizione, non all'altezza ordinato il martedì consegnato il lunedì successivo
