They worked but one time only!
We used them at Universal, we didnt want our shoes to get wet and wear stinky tennis the rest of the trip! They did protect them from the water, the problem is that they tend to break easily, so you must be extra careful while put them on or when taking them off because they will torn.

Feet got wet, toes and ankles
Protection from water has failed on a rainy day. You’d think I’d get my sock wet around the ankles because water sneaks in at the opening and you’d be correct on that one. However my toes also got wet. You can see the picture included. When you walk in these small holes get developed at the bottom of the shoe cover, water leaks into those small holes and make your feet wet. Wears down fast. I did not walk through puddles, I was trying to avoid them. I also had an umbrella with me, but again my shoes got wet due to water sneaking in from the top and from the bottom through small holes. You can see on the picture that my mid foot is dry.Tread for slippery surfaces, works well for the most part, although I still slipped a few times in these.

Worked but….
We bought these to save our socks and shoes at a theme park that was forecasting rain. They did keep us dry but are a one and done wear. Do not expect to wear them a second time as the tear up with normal walking. By the end of the night both pair had holes in them so we couldn’t reuse them sadly. I was hoping they would last for three days while there. If you need them for a day, it’s great. But a no go for a multi day use.

Fits my Hokas!
These are great. I bought the Large size for my women’s size 9 Hoka tennis shoes & they fit nicely. I put my shoes on first & then the rain boot over. It was a bit tricky getting them lined up. I tied putting the boot on the shoe first & then on my foot. Not a good idea. The back of the shoes was almost impossible to get on my heel & getting to the shoelaces was tricky too! However my best way, if you put the rain boot on the shoe halfway from toe to the laces, it’s easier to line up. Then you can put the shoe on easily, tie the laces and finish putting on the rest of the boot. These pack perfectly for travel. And are definitely waterproof. Great value for the price.

Read this before you buy
I do a lot of walking outdoors everyday. As you probably know it's been unusually wet here in the Northeast lately. My walks are primarily on a track that has a hard surface, it puddles-up during and after a rain.. Wet sneakers are no fun. I thought that these shoe covers would be a good solution. By my second day of use, less than 8 miles , my right cover wore through at the heal. The result, a wet foot. If you're looking for something to keep your feet dry while you're working in the yard or garden then these are a good solution. They are not for heavy use on a hard surface. The price of under $10 should have been my 1st clue. I have an 8 1/2 shoe size, "Large" was a very snug fit. Some quick advice: It's rather difficult to stretch them enough to get them over the shoe. Consider once they are on, leave them on & use those shoes for your yard work in wet weather. The stretching to get them off and on will most likely shorten their life.

Didn't hold up
Rather than bring a pair of waterproof sneakers and extra shoes with me to Alaska I got the idea of buying these. I bought XL because I have big feet for a women (size 42) and the sneakers I was going to wear had bigger bases. I tried on when I got them, I could have gotten away with the L, but rather than return and reorder I kept.Well as I was putting on again my finger poked through the top and ripped them a bit. No worries. We headed out walking on a rainy day in Sitka and explored the national forest, came home with WET feet. Especially the one without the tear, my left foot. there were little micro tears on the bottom of the shoe from walking (one time for a few hours) and let the rain in through the bottom. my other foot was wet, less so because fewer tears. My feet were drier than if I would have worn nothing, but my toe and sock up to my arch was soaked. Expected them to hold up better since it said wear resistant.

Perfect for Disney
Wore these during a trip to Disney with downpours (prior to Helene) and our shoes were dry as bone. Perfect for what we needed.

they are easily perforated and easily tear
These are worthless for their intended use. The first time that I wore them, as I discovered my feet getting soaked, I found that several holes had already been created in the sole of each cover. I also discovered two long tears near a side.My wife had purchased a pair too and quickly discarded them for the same reason.Even if these had been functional it is a struggle to stretch them over one’s shoes. I only wear a men’s size 8-1/2 and purchased a pair of “large” covers, but it’s a small miracle that I didn’t rip them or strain a bicep during the minutes that it took me to don them.
