This item is in every way useless, the quality of the cable compare to oem is terrible 1/2 the thickness. The length is absolutly incoorect, wich does not allow recoil. The middle part that is the main enclosere under the hood is made entirely of plastic OEM is a metal and the feet that hold enclosure to the fender are so fragile that hey barely stay in . Spent 6 hours trying to understand why it would unlock the hood once and thats it. BTW the install of the latch connection will drive you bonckers. GO TO BMW buy the OEM.Good Luck!

Well to start I want to point out the first cable that connects to the lever under the dash that runs to the splitter was too long. About a few inches too long actually so it definitely made installation a pain but I managed to make it work. The rest of the cables were just fine. For the price, you can get away with using these in my opinion but the true test will be how they hold up in the long run.

I put in the cable, and it works! As good as oem no problem with fitment if you can’t get it working it’s your fault!Go America! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It's better to replace all three pieces at the same time, over $200 at dealership parts only
