Great products
My cats love it. But if not on sale I buy other brand to substitute.

Found something the Bengal cat won't turn his nose up at......so far
I have an extremely picky Bengal cat who decided a couple of weeks ago that he was done with Petite Cuisine canned food. I tried every brand, including Birdie and Louie, every flavor, and every texture known to feline. He wasn't having any of it. Most of it wasn't even sniff worthy. He does, however, love Delectables cat treats. Sadly, as treats, they don't have the nutrients cats need from food. I found this food through Google. It is right on point with the texture and consistency of Delectables but also has the nutrients and hydration that he needs from food. This was a win! He loves it! He is also picky about eating the same thing twice in a row so the variety pack is great with the 6 flavors so that I can rotate his meals. As long as he keeps thinking that he's getting treats and eats it, I'll keep buying it.

Love/Hate... cat wins
I have an aging cat who's already deaf, and I imagine is losing his sense of smell as well. The moron who decided to include mackerel in this was an unfortunate genius. It smells so bad my cat can actually smell it. He loves it. His human cohabitants don't love it nearly as much. Definitely a love/hate relationship with this product. Cat loves it, humans hate it. Cat wins. Most foods with gravy, he just eats the gravy and leaves the bits. With the mousse, he eats every bit on his plate. Now if only they would just sell the mackerel version by itself.

Picky Cats
Only 4 stars because my picky cats didn't like some of the flavors included.

Good product
My cats love all Tiki Cat food products! They are pricey items, but my diabetic cat needs good quality food and that makes his health worth it!

Too tempting for even an ill cat to refuse. Lip smacking good by itself, or added to other foods.
You know that enthusiastic sound of lip smacking? That head down, focused and intent posture that your kit takes when devouring a meal they can't get enough of? When you have a kit that needs to eat but can't or won't, that smacking sound is music to your ears, and their position at their food bowl is a sight for sore eyes. Long story short, our kit was attacked by a friends dog. They'd played together for years, so this was a fluke occurrence. (it was discovered later that the dog had a broken toe and his pain probably led to his short temper that day) Our kit will be fine, but during her recovery she's not wanted to eat much. The area on the side of her neck and throat is still sutured and the vet said she may have discomfort when chewing. We tried baby food, pate style cat food (mixed and watered down to make it softer), I even used an immersion blender in a can of pate food to further smooth the texture - - - none were enticing enough, although the baby food piqued the most interest. Although her normal diet consists of several Tiki Cat canned flavors, I did not know of this Tiki Cat Velvet product. Our friend (the owner of the dog) has been so vigilant in trying to help with our kit's recovery, that she brought several of these pouches over last week. I opened a pouch and our kit went nuts. She meowed for the first time since the accident and circled me like a shark. I could not smell anything when I opened the pouch, but I guess she did right away. I squeezed a little bit out of the pouch and she lapped it up right from the corner of the packet. I squeezed half a pouch into her bowl and that happy sound of lip smacking began. It was gone in a minute. The second half of the pouch was gone just as quickly. If you are familiar at all with a jar of Gerber chicken baby food, it's very similar to this in texture and consistency. Rather than tearing off the entire top of the packet to open, I've been just snipping off a corner then squeezing out the serving portion. This makes it much neater and cleaner to dispense. After using this by itself for 2 weeks, our vet suggested adding in some of her previous favorite wet foods. These pouches are a godsend, but they are quite spendy. As much as it's a joy to see her eating again, I was a bit nervous she'd continue to refuse her other food even once she's completely healed. I squeeze a bit of this Velvet on the bottom of her bowl, dish a spoonful of her usual wet food on top of that, then squeeze a bit more Velvet on top - - - like a Velvet sandwich. It works and she's been eating the entire bowl of food this way for over a week now. Knowing how much she likes it, I will continue to buy this and serve it this way even after she's fully recovered.

Smooth moose like cat food, but cat uninterested.
My two-year-old Maine Coon has become increasingly finicky about food. She is fussy about the pate Fancy Feast she used to love and I have to try to smooth it out for her. She is healthy and the vetโs office mentioned the tiki brand because of the smooth mousse like texture. Bought this in hopes to solve the problem even though it was very expensive, but, considering I waste quite a bit in the pate Iโm using I figured it might equal out as I wouldnโt be throwing so much away. Unfortunately, Iโve tried three different flavors so far and she does have a few licks, but then leaves and is uninterested. Itโs also messy to get out of the pouch and since she only has a few licks I use a teaspoon to pull some out and put in her dish then have to try to push the rest back down to try to fold it over and secure with a big clip before refrigerating it. It seems to still go everywhere. Iโm now using an empty baby food jar to squeeze the unused portion into and make it easier for me to use. Disappointed and out of $$$$. Not for us unfortunately.

Not cheap but very high quality cat food.
While expensive, this cat food is really high quality. All natural ingredients. Note that this food is fairly chunky. My cat prefers more of a pate but really likes this stuff. Hell, if I run out of food, I would consider having some of this on a cracker!

Kitty love
I've been feeding this to my 19 year old as a supplement to her regular dry food diet. We've moved to smaller kibble and adding kitten food, along with this wet food in small amounts 3 times a day. She loves this stuff seems to help her keep on a bit of weight ,gives her energy, does not upset her stomach its a win! Highly recommend as an addition for senior kitties.
