Beautiful tint and nice form factor - I have many lights, primarily 18650 lights, this was my first 14500/AA light and it was such a good choice. The 4000k Nichia emitter is so perfect for this light. I might order another just to keep sealed in case they ever discontinue this model, that’s how much I love it! I use NiMh with mine indoors primarily, the high cri makes everything look so good. Built really well, beautiful anodizing, threads feel buttery smooth, everything about this screams quality. I could hold the light in my hand without feeling much heat even on the highest setting. The battery life seems to be good, I used it for a day without recharging. A full press of the tail switch turns the light on. To cycle through the brightness setting, you half press for low, medium, high and turbo. I found the strobe a little difficult to access, you have to half press the tail switch six times. The tail switch also has a ambient light but only works with a 14500 battery. I also discovered that you can operate the light by twisting the tail cap. With the light in the on position twist the tail cap a little less than a quarter turn and each turn will cycle through the brightness levels. This light is very well constructed, it's made of aluminum and has a nice grip. For it's size this little light is very bright with a beautiful warm light and decent throw.
