Absolute beast
I would recommend this lem big bite #32 to anyone that packages they’re own meat/ makes they’re own pet food! It worked amazing and is super fast for making your own hamburger, but I also make my own pet food which could be pretty hard on a meat grinder! This thing will chew up chicken bones as fast as you can throw them in there like it’s nothing. Keep noted that I make tons of dog food at once to store away. It really didn’t have any time to rest while I was doing it and still it didn’t get hot or even sound like it was wearing on the motor.Cleaning was easy as well for the most part. It’s never fun cleaning up stuff like this, but for all the money you save by packaging your own meat I would say it’s worth it.It’s also very well made. Everything seams sturdy and works as advertised and then some! I didn’t expect it to eat up bones so easy! It is pretty expensive but in the long run it will save me tons of money by packaging meat myself. It’s crazy how expensive processed food is compared to buying in bulk and doing it on your own!

A quality meat grinder that’s worth the price.
Why should you buy this? Or any meat grinder for that matter? I got it because I want to know what’s in my ground meat. I also bought some Brisket/Chuck pre made burger patties at my local supermarket and I thought “Wow, these are really good”. But I really didn’t want to pay that much for a better quality meat all the time. My family eats a lot of hamburger, and brisket per pound is cheaper than ground beef. I just keep my eyes open for sales. Now you know why I wanted a meat grinder, why chose this one? LEM products have a good reputation for quality. And this grinder proves that reputation is well earned. The unit is well made and I think it’s pretty quiet for what it is. I guessing about the same as my kitchen aid mixer. It is heavy. I placed it on a rolling cart and that is where it stays. I think it would be inconvenient to carry around and place on the table or counter for use every time for most people. When I use this meat grinder it chews up partly frozen chunks of beef or pork just as fast as I can feed it in and I’ve not noticed the motor struggling at all doing it. I ground a 20lb Angus brisket that I cut up in to 2”-3” pieces and placed in the freezer for 45 minutes before grinding it in less than 5 minutes using the bigger plate and It easily could have done it faster. A second grind using the smaller plate does take a little longer as I had to use the stomper to push the meat into the auger. Even so start to finish it was less than 20 minutes.Assembly and clean up is really easy. Just wash in hot soapy water. It is dishwasher safe. (Not the motor, of course)I expect this meat grinder will last for decades if it’s cared for and used how I use it. (6-8 times a year.)

Much better quality over competitors
Solid meat grinder for home use. I had a Westin #12 (1hp) that failed me. I bought the LEM Big Bite #8 and it puts the Westin to shame. The LEM is built like a tank, makes quick work grinding chuck roast, pork shoulder, etc. also, parts are readily available. Not the case with the Westin as I couldn’t get the part I needed for the Westin. You can tell the difference between the two brands just by weight alone. Solid.

Very nice, powerful and quite
Very nice, powerful and quite.Used it a week ago for the first time. Did both bulk and cased sausage. We ran 40-50lbs of pork shoulder butt through it. No fuss, no difficulty with the machine. Good grind consistency.

Quiet and powerful.
This is my second grinder, my first one was from another company and lasted about 6 years - I thought it was great, lots of power and was really loud. This LEM Big Bite #5 is blowing my mind. You can have a conversation over it while it's grinding. Before I would have to wear headphones and warn my neighbor I was going to be grinding meat (no joke) so he could close his back door. When I first turned it on I didn't think it switched on. It just works so well and much easier than my old grinder.- Super quiet.- Super powerful, processes chicken thighs with bone without any bogging.- Makes really great hamburger.- Grinding pan on top is large and very secure, you can load it with a lot of meat or vegetables.- Cleans up really quick and easy.My only negative feedback:- Fluid from the grind can make it's way backwards so it leaks out a little from where the grinder meats the motor.- I do wish there was a grind plate in between the small and medium included. I'm using this to make dog food and the smallest grind would be awesome for sausage, and the biggest grind lets too large of bone fragments through.I feel like this was entirely a good purchase and worth the money, I hope it lasts as long as my old one.

Great Product
I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought this to help me begin my journey into sausage making, and it’s great. I have also used it to grind my own chuck for burgers, and the flavor difference over store bought ground beef is significant. I have had zero issues with mine. It’s fairly easy to clean as well. Great product.

Great machine
First off, we are considered a small scale processor. We do over 100 deer, 50 cattles and 200 hogs a year. The first lem we had was a #12 and it did a great job for 3 years. We used it every day and then it started leaking grease, so we decided to up grade to this big boy.The one we recieved was definitely a return. It had bumps, scratches and dried meat on it. Cleaned it up and gave her a go. It ground 15 lbs of meat in 5 minutes. We did a rough test grind on this batch meaning we intentionally didn't cut out some silver skin to see how good of a grind we got. The grinder was able to remove all sliver skin and left very even grind. See picture for reference. That's beef. The size of the machine is double what our #12 was and the parts are heavy but they are solid. All the pieces are large and dishwasher safe. We put all pieces on the bottom of the dishwasher for sanitation and it works perfectly. This is a great machine for anyone wanting to do their own meat. Great for beginners. We started out as backyard butchers and have slowly evolved into needing a huge machine. The value for the money is on point. This machine is a little more than off name but it's worth the warranty and customer service that comes with the lem brand.

LEM BIGBITE #8 Awesome!
Lem Big BgBite 8. Prompt delivery from seller.I've been using my Bosch Compact Mixer meat grinding attachment for the past several years, contemplating purchasing a dedicated meat grinder. I don't know why I waited so long. This meat grinder is awesome. I'm used to cutting up meat and coaxing it through a Bosch Compact Mixer attachment and could no longer physically stand for hours to complete the task. What used to take an hour takes mere minutes. My beef was refrigerator cold to start and it gobbled and ground it up with no hesitation. Highly recommended. If you're on the line about purchasing this grinder, just do it. You won't be disappointed.According to the manual parts list, this model includes the small, medium, and large stuffers which were not included in the box, but LEM customer support assures me they will be in the mail.

Wait for the replacement
I have to see it is really annoying! I spent about £412.4 to buy a lem mightybite grinder in August 2025 and hoped to use it with a peaceful mind for a reylong period of time. We used it a couple of times every week with a medium load. For a heavy duty grinder, it should be fine. However, only about 4 months later, the machine stopped working. Completely! Now it is just like a piece of heavy metal in the box! Of course the machine is not cheap! More importantly it is affecting our work in the kitchen. Very soon I contacted the seller FarOutPro for help on 4th January this year. The initial response from FarOutOro is that their management team is considering my case and asked me to wait for some time. I thought it is ok at least they are considering. Then they said I should contact the manufacturer directly for replacement. Then I found out the manufacturer is in America but I am in the UK. Then I told FarOutPro the situation and asked whether they could help me to get the replacement on my behalf on 15th January. About 2 weeks past there is no any more response from the seller. Firstly I am very disappointed about the quality of this £400 plus machine! Secondly I am very disappointed about the after sale service of the seller FarOutPro! They have plenty of machines in stock but chose not to help their customer with an urgent replacement. We haven’t had a proper grinder in our kitchen for about a month! I try to be patient but have to write this review. I didn’t want to rate this machine and the seller’s service at this moment. I wait for the replacement and how the new machine performs. However, amazon system gives me no choice but to choose a rating. Thank you very much for spending time to read this feedback.

Tremendously happy with this product
This grinder looks and feels like a commercial machine. Heavy, good quality stainless steel. I used it to grind and stuff 10lb of meat into sausages. Like all meat grinders at any price the meat must be near frozen for smooth operation. Even as a stuffer as long as the meat is near freezing it works like a charm, it’s just slower than a dedicated sausage stuffer but works fantastic, I’m going to put off buying a stuffer now that I know how well this machine handles the task. 6 out of 5 stars.Pulled my meat out of the freezer about 26 hours before grinding and put in the fridge. (1.5 plus 2.5 kilo packs of shoulder) and it was the perfect temperature, hard to cut cause it’s still partially frozen.Exceedingly happy with this unit.

Love this machine!
If you are grinding meat under 200 pounds at a time, I would totally recommend this grinder. It is absolutely effortless, easy to clean, relatively compact and seems to be built solidly. For the price I don't think you can get a grinder any better than this one, plus a 5 year warranty. All stainless and a nice carrying handle are added benefits. In my first use, I ground up 200 pounds of pork. It did stop at 150 pound mark as it got very hot but then after about 20 minutes did the rest of the 50 pounds. This is actually good as it will turn off before overheating and burning out your motor. I think if I made the pieces a bit smaller and loosened the fastener a bit it might have got through all 200 without stopping. It is also sooooo quiet for a grinder! The other one I used shook the pictures off the wall.In the end if you are grinding around 100 to 200 pounds at a time, a few times a year like me, this will serve you well.
