The media could not be loaded.  My son is weight lifting on a regular basis and has been bulking up to gain weight. He makes smoothies twice a day to add high calories to his diet to help him bulk up so I got this blender to make his life easier as he was using a personal size blender that was just big enough to fit everything he needed to make smoothies. This blender is slim and does not take much counter top space but it's big enough to hold many fruits, ingredients and ice in the jar. What I'm really impressed about this blender is the glass jar. It's super thick and heavy duty glass, which is much more sanitary compared to plastic jar and easier to clean up after using it. The jar is very heavy because it's all glass but it has very large handle to support solid grip. There's small lid on top that you can open and close to add food into the jar so you don't have to remove the entire lid. I only wish the lip on the glass jar was bigger and deeper as it's not wide and deep enough to pour the thick smoothies into the smoothie cup that it came with but this is not a deal breaker. It has 4 speed modes plus pulse mode for breaking the ice. 5 out of 5 stars. A great blender with quality glass jar!

I have had the same old blender for decades. It has never failed me, but it was getting so old that I figured I should get a new one. I was used to how it functioned and thought it was normal. When I received this brand new one in the mail, I was shocked. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use, how efficient it was at blending, and the value for the price! It is seriously like a rocket ship or something. If you are thinking about upgrading, now is the time and this is the one to upgrade to! You will not have any regrets, I promise!

Does what it says it does! You can click slow, medium, or fast to the right and pulse to the left. Boom. That’s it. Simple and sleek design and function.Those crazy blenders with all the buttons? Like you’re really telling me there’s a difference between chop and dice on a blender? It spins or spins. This blender gets that and you just control speed. You don’t have to figure out if you’re blending or LiquifyingOther reviews have mentioned a burning smell. Nothing like that here. They mentioned it shutting off if you use it too long at a time? My kids use this. So it’s definitely ok there.The only reason I’m taking away a star is because, like every other blender, it gets cranky if it doesn’t think there’s enough liquid. You will have to mush down with a spatula. Does that get annoying? Absolutely. Have I had to do it with every other blender I’ve ever used in my life? You bet!So should you get this blender? Definitely! I’ll have to see what longevity I’d like but we’ve had it about a month of heavy kid use (it’s shiny and new and they’re making everything into a smoothie…) and there’s been no slowing down. So far, no complaints!Edit: it stopped working today. I’ve had this blender for 4 months and now it won’t blend. It turns on, but won’t blend.I moved this to 1 star. Not worth it. Don’t buy it. I ordered this blender to replace an old Cuisinart that is no longer in production. One feature that was important to me was that the jar be glass rather than plastic, as I prefer glass. I knew when purchasing this blender that the jar is attached to the blade and cannot be disassembled, but I was under the impression that this model has a self-cleaning function. It does not, and that should be removed from the description as it is misleading.Because there is no self-cleaning function and you cannot separate the jar from the blade, this blender can be a bit of a pain to clean. If I’m making a protein shake (the primary reason I purchased this blender), it’s really not that big of a deal. However, when blending thicker types of foods/liquids, it is more of a hassle to get the entire unit clean. If anything gets stuck near the blades, you are at risk of cutting yourself if you try to scrub down there. On the flip side, there are fewer pieces to clean, which saves me time compared to a unit that comes apart.In terms of power, this blender seems to get through ice pretty well on the highest setting/pulse. It may take a little longer than a higher-powered blender, but it does the job at the end of the day. The controls are self-explanatory and thus this blender is quite easy to use.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to people who would like an affordable glass blender. I would just caution people that cleaning can be a slight hassle.

I got this because my old blender broke. This blender is so powerful there is no comparison. Our family likes to enjoy fruit and vegetable juice every morning. This helps me out. I made a humongous smoothie also. My son loves it very much and it’s easy for him to use. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. It’s really affordable and is a great value.

I love everything about this blender! The blender is powerful and very well made. I've been using it to make smoothies and it's fantastic. No need to crush the ice before adding it to the blender jar. Just add your fruit, milk and whole ice cubes and minutes later you have a smooth, creamy and delicious smoothy. I love the sleek look of the blender. I love the anti-slip feet that keep the blender firmly in place on the counter. I love the soft blue light that comes on when the glass blender jar is set correctly in the base unit to let you know it's ready to go. I highly recommend this blender!

The media could not be loaded.  Muy bonita, se ve y se siente que es de muy buena calidad, el vaso de cristal se ve muy bien, la tapa sella muy bien, las ventosas en su base cumplen muy bien su función, y al poner el vaso en la base lo detecta, así que si no está el vaso puesto no funciona, lo cual me parece un muy buen punto de seguridad.Y sobre el funcionamiento, excelente, tritura súper rápido y muy bien, yo hago licuados de Fresas congeladas y las licua bien.
