Will the Kodak Scanza accept all plastic slide mounts, e.g. the blue and white type or are they too thick for the holder?

It takes the thin card slides but not the thicker plastic ones. I am going to take the negative out of the plastic surround and slip it into a card surround which is annoying but I have to find a way to be able to scan the thicker ones.
