Very Impressive for the price
So, I wasn't looking for anything particularly high quality when I bought these speakers, I just wanted a halfway decent set of bluetooth speakers to go in my hobby room so I can listen to some music or podcasts while I'm painting (ones I won't feel bad about eventually covering with airbrush overspray).... so my expectations were pretty low. A £60 set of speakers from a chinese company I've never heard of? At the very least they had to be better than the single £20 bluetooth speaker I've been using for the last year or two, right? However, taking them out of the box, I was impressed by how high quality they felt. They're nice and heavy, the fit and finish is good quality, even the controls are nice and smooth and positive. The added connectivity was also a huge bonus. I paired it to my tablet with absolutely no issues and had no drop-outs. Connecting to my PC via USB, it detected it as an audio device and just worked with no driver downloads or messing about....and of course, the aux cable is an aux cable, plug and go. As for sound quality, well, like I said, my expectations were low. These are cheap , sub £100 Chinese speakers. These aren't high-quality hi-fi audio equipment... but I was genuinely impressed by how good the sound quality actually is. They're not going to blow your socks off, but they're very, very decent. I think the best word to describe the sound quality is 'competent'. These speakers don't excel in anything, but they don't fail at anything either. A lot of cheap speakers tend to go for powerful bass (missing the point that 'powerful' bass isn't the same as 'good' bass), especially when it's bass at the expense of everything else...and you end up with boomy speakers where everything sounds muddy and boxy. These have none of those problems. They have decent bass, are clear through the entire range, they're loud enough to fill a room, but still sound good at quieter volumes, with no noticeable distortion at louder volumes. In short, if you're looking for speakers to use as monitors for audio production, or something to use with a multi-thousand dollar audio system... these aren't for you. If you're looking for a very good set of PC speakers, or an upgrade for your TV's built in speakers, or just something to listen to spotify while still getting good quality audio with two-speaker stereo seperation, these are perfect. I've spent much more on way worse speakers

great desktop speakers
Glad I purchased when I did. Connected straight to PC via USB-C. Work well. Loud enough to fill a good sized room but don't expect to play gigs with them. Sound quality is good, thought not perfect. They're clear enough for my needs and I can hear the whole range - i can hear each instrument well, each individual percussion sound. If you're an audiophile you will find fault (you always do hahahah). If you want as close to perfect as possible, go and shell out £1,000's on a different system. For home use though these are planty good enough. They seem solid and well made (although internal wiring is always a main indicator of quality, I won't be opening them up). Lot's of features - USB connectivity, bluetooth, optical port, headphone port, can switch modes for Hi-Fi or monitor setup which means they should run connected to stereo or TV as well (I haven't tried them that way yet). Aesthetically pleasing to look at as well. Can take 6.35mm (1/4") jack to connect to a system as well by the looks of it. Overall, for the money, they're impressive and look great. Great job SanYun!

Very good product. Read the review if you want detail.
So this will be an accurate and candid review for potential buyers who want a detailed appraisal. Initially, my concern was the brand name and so with that, I read a few reviews, which on the whole, read quite positively. They were promptly delivered and this is what I've learned. The units house a 3 inch driver and a tweeter. What they are good for is a musical experience with good stereo separation. There is a lot more low end than you'd expect for something like this. They fill a room nicely and wont annoy your neighbours. Connectivity is either through the USB connection, aux or bluetooth. These are all different modes which you will have to select by pressing the volume button to change modes. Bass and treble controls. For my own personal taste, I like a crisp top end and to be frank I didnt think the treble control did anything although there was an audible difference with the bass knob. Because of this I run windows 11 and installed an NCL equalizer, which made all the difference. So the speakers do have the capability to sound crisp and well balanced. In summary at £59 these speakers beat a soundbar hands down and I would recommend them if you're on a budget. If you buy them be mindful of them being exactly what they say they are. They aren't something extraordinary, but they are good value for money. I'd say buy them. lovely little speakers.

Amazing sound and bass
Amazing bass, they were really easy to setup, having to plug in 2 - 3 cables and that is them ready to be used, the range on the speakers is also amazing, the sounds goes far and you can hear the bass and all the elements of the sound really well. The bluetooth feature, aux and usb is also really useful making them very universal to all devices and that makes them extremely functional. Overall, I might start bringing them around eith me when I go away just because of how good the sound quality is

Decent-ish PC speakers. Not the best for music.
Not all that. There are a lot of long gushing (generated?) reviews for this item, but these sound exactly like what they are, £50 PC speakers. They sound fine for that, but let’s not pretend these are any kind of hi-fi quality, they are not in that league. Sound is pretty similar to a pair of £50 Creative PC speakers, for example. If that’s what you are looking for, you’ll not be disappointed.

The quest for the perfect desktop speakers for my Mac Mini M1 felt like searching for the Holy Grail - countless video reviews, a graveyard of rejected options... But then, enter the Sanyun SW-206 Dual Model Bookshelf Speakers, and let me tell you, they were a revelation. Before we crank the volume to 11, let's talk about the essential qualities every PC speaker needs (because let's face it, bad speakers are speakers you'll be living with, not living for). Here's my personal symphony of must-haves: - Crystal Clear Symphony: Rich, detailed sound that takes you from the front row of a concert to the heart of a movie scene. (We can all agree, muddy audio is a major buzzkill.) - The Treble and Bass Duet: The ability to fine-tune the sound to your taste, whether you're a bass enthusiast or a treble traditionalist. - The Silent Stage: Speakers that disappear when there's no audio, no unwanted hiss or hum to disrupt your listening bliss. - Power Without Distortion: Crank it up without the sound turning into a distorted mess. Loudness shouldn't sacrifice clarity. - Connectivity Chorus: Multiple inputs are a lifesaver, allowing you to connect all your devices and keep the music flowing. - Stereo Harmony: A balanced soundscape where instruments and vocals are perfectly placed, not favouring one side over the other. The Sanyun SW-206 became my maestro for all these reasons. I threw everything at them: Apple Music's lossless library, Spotify's highest quality streams, podcasts with music and spoken word, movies, YouTube, even my personal collection of lossless audio files. For a month, these speakers haven't missed a beat. They're perfect for the value-conscious audiophile (like myself!) who craves top-notch sound without breaking the bank. I can finally hear the subtle nuances in those high-quality podcasts with spoken word and background music – a symphony for the ears! The sound quality? Superb. Speaker quietness? Excellent, no unwanted noise when the music stops. Power? They pack a punch and get loud without distortion. Bonus feature? The convenience of a remote control to adjust volume and other settings from the comfort of your chair. Let's not forget the eye candy! These speakers boast a sleek, modern design that complements any desk setup. The clean white box design with a pop of yellow inside the speakers adds a touch of modernity you can show off. Matching the impressive sound is the build quality. The speakers have a reassuring weight, feeling sturdy and well-made. They also sit firmly on the desk with no vibrations, ensuring a clean listening experience. The verdict? If you're a content creator, a music enthusiast, or simply want to elevate your desktop experience, these speakers deserve a standing ovation. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. P.S. For the purpose of this review, I utilised a high quality AUX cable to ensure optimal audio performance.

These stands are very, very small, someone asked here if they will work with Audioengine A5+ and the answer was "yes", it's not true, it doesn't work with A5+ and speakers are just falling off it, because these are so tiny. Overall it's good quality product and if size is ok for you, worth it.

For the price, these are great as PC speakers. They are of course not comparable to real studio monitors but the sound is relatively flat. Mild over tones from low frequencies. They look great and they don't take up too much room. The operation is set it and forget it. They have been on for about a year now without issue.

Worth the money such a good deal! The main features I love is that it has so many ways to connect to your devices via Bluetooth, USB or AUX. The speakers are built very well with quality material and the sound is so full and warm. I might just buy another pair. So far no problems all is good!
