Review: My ball python and leopard gecko both love this heat mat - So I’ve bought this heat mat once before for my leopard gecko and he absolutely loved it (usually he sleeps on it at night) and then a few months after I got my leopard gecko I bought a ball python, at the time he was on just a 4w heater and I decided he wasn’t getting very much warmth from it, so that’s when I decided to buy him one of these and personally this is my new favorite under tank heater. It works wonderfully, it usually heats up to its full in about 10 to 20 minutes. if you do decide to purchase this I would recommend buying a thermostat because this heater will reach about 120 degrees very quickly and this will burn your animal, and it will save you the vet bill.
Review: It gets very warm - It works very well and heats quickly, but it also gets very warm so be careful where you put it and maybe not put it all over the thing you want to heat as you might fry the animal you're trying to just keep warm. Mine is under about 1/3 of my tarantula's home and it helps in the winter or when it gets cold out.

**Q: Has anyone just laid the heater under the tank and not used the adhesive to attach to glass at bottom of a Gecko tank?**
A: We have used the adhesive for 2 years now and have had no issues

**Q: My tortoise's enclosure is made of wood. Can attached this on wood?**
A: It likely won’t stick to wood. I use overhead Heat lights for turtles and tortoises. Remember if you do use a heat pad it has to be controlled by a thermostat.

**Q: Can I use one under the tank and one on the side?**
A: yes you can, but they are very sticky and not exactly attractive. The sticky means they are on there good and tight. We did similar set up for our toad. You'll just have to monitor that it doesn't get too hot in the one area.

**Q: Hello, can this product be connected to the temperature controller? Thanks**
A: Yes, you can plug it into most thermostats.
