It's an excellent chain whip. Great price and I think it is well built.It has a great feel, and does the job for less than Park or Pedro's! Perfect for the home mechanic. I have used it so far 10 times and it has performed above my expectations. Funny thing was I just thought I would get it just in case I needed it!! 10 times later I'm glad I have it!!!

I normally go with Park Took or Topeak brands, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money for what would be probably a one-off repair. so I ordered this one based on price and star ratings. It is absolutely fine. Quality is there, doesn’t feel cheap, and it did the job just perfectly fine. I recommend it.

I'm not sure what some of the other negative reviews were addressing. This chain whip worked well on my 10 speed Shimano 105 cassette and I had no issues or breakage. Decent tool for the money.

I have used this tool approximately 20 times. It is like new. Much better tool than I expected for the price.

Used this with the wrench tool for removing the rear sprocket. Worked perfectly. I don’t think I could have removed it without this tool. It was on very tight. Simple snd easy to use.

Novice here. It worked wonderfully on two bikes that I have. Without it I can’t see how it would be possible to take the cassette off without either cutting your hand or damaging the cassette teeth! A must have if you don’t want to go to your bike shop for simple maintenance and it pays for itself on the first use.

I thought I was able to get away with a cheaper chain whip instead of something pretty expensive like a park tool chain whip. However when it came to taking off my cassette the chain whip was not able to grip onto the SRAM EAGLE gears on the cassette because the gears are narrower. Additionally the chain whip will not be able to attach to any gears besides the first and last gear on the sram eagle cassette because sram eagle uses a smaller width chain and this chain whip has a regular width.However this chain whip fits well on other cassettes I tried including a 7 speed.

I mostly buy Park Tool brand tools since they're so durable and well made. However, there are some minor tools, such as this, that are well over half the price compared to Park Tool and just as good. At that point, you're just paying for the Park Tool name, as opposed to the actual quality and effectiveness of the tool. This HEYAND chain whip seems insanely durable and well made. I was able to get my cassette off with complete ease.

Product worked fine

Slips straight off the sprocket. It's as if the chain is already stretched and doesn't line up correctly with the teeth on the sprocket.
