Hydro Flask Coffee Mug – Insulated Stainless Steel, Non Spill, Leak Resistant Travel Mug 12 Oz Indigo Blue

This is a review of Hydro Flask Stainless Steel Reusable Mug - Vacuum Insulated, BPA-Free, Non-Toxic I really love this 12 ounce Hydro flask insulated mug. The coating of the outside of the mug is kind of soft feeling and when you put it on a hard surface it doesn't clink like something that would just be plain metal. I also like the way that the spout opens and closes on the top. Although the spout cover is not leak proof, that doesn't bother me because this is a coffee mug, and I don't normally place a coffee mug on its side. I also like the rounded handle which is very comfortable to put my fingers through and whether you put two or three fingers through it then you can use your little finger or second finger to sort of go underneath it and support the mug. My only minor issue is that they recommend that you hand wash this and I think that's probably to protect the finish on the mug. I really like the look of the mug and I don't want to risk it so I will hand wash this, and that's not that big of a deal. My Ninja coffee make brews coffee at 177°. I've measured the temperature using a digital thermometer and an hour later the mug still keeps my coffee about 150 to 155°. An hour after that it's still warm enough to be comfortable drinking but not what I would call tepid. So this basically keeps my coffee hot for two hours which is awesome. I like the different colors that this is available in. I think it's a solid purchase.

Great coffee mug for hot beverage for hours, used with pour over coffee prep keeps hot and delicious.replaced my stoneware mugs which had lids with 6 the hydroflask mugs. Great for work desk as They don’t tip over and if knocked over will leak from top small air vent, keep a napkin nearby for minimal wipe up. Not cup holder friendly, but do use un the car occasionally. Reliable performance of this brand’s mugs have brought me back for repeat purchases. Highly recommend hand washing for minimal wear and tear to keep them looking like new. Worth the price especially when sale discounts are present.

We have four Hydro Flask products, including this one; Mom uses it every day for water. It also keeps any beverage cold or hot. The top is great because it keeps the liquid cold or hot. Dishwasher safe, never fades, keeps beverages cold for hours, and ice will not melt for 2- 3 days if kept in the fridge. We also have two 32 oz tumblers and a 20 oz water bottle—the stainless steel and handles are really well made and easy to grip. No leaks.

This is a need! Keeps your drink hot/ cold for so long. Comfy hold and super cute. It’s a must need if you only have normal coffee cups

My New Year’s resolution (which I started halfway through December) was to cut out energy drinks, and I needed a mug that I could bring to work that would keep my tea warm, even when I stepped away from it for too long. I have a 32oz Hydroflask from college I still use, but don’t want to put anything other than water in that one. The 12oz is the perfect size for my batches of hot tea, and it fits in my cup holder for my car (which has a gap for the handle to fit in). While it still keeps my tea hot a lot longer than just a regular mug, it doesn’t keep it comfortably hot for longer than an hour or so if left unattended with the lid fully on, which I think is a fault of the thinner, less insulated lid, as well as probably the size being so small. If the lid was a bit more insulated, it could probably stay hot for longer, even at this small size. I usually drink my tea within the hour, but there are times my ADHD takes over and I forget about it, and come back to a warm-to-tepid cup of tea after a couple hours. Great mug if you’re relatively quick about drinking your tea, though (within an hour or so of brewing). The lid isn’t spillproof, but I haven’t really knocked this over. The bottom of the mug is the same matte, almost silicone-feeling texture as the rest of the mug, so it’s not prone to sliding around on a desk easily. Haven’t tested it in a dishwasher, as I prefer handwashing, but I’m sure it’ll hold up just fine.

I should have know I would love it. I have other Hydroflask tumblers and love every one of them. I had bought another brand of cheaper mugs.... and noticed they started discoloring on the bottom, then chipping and flaking on the interior bottom. They were advertised as Stainless Steel..... but apparently very low quality. I have had some of my Hydroflask tumblers for several years and not one problem. I have no doubt my new mug will be just as durable. It actually is a little larger than 12oz. Which allows for a tea bag or coffee additives. There is a very visible "marker" (actually just a small bump) inside the mug at the 12 oz mark. There is comfortably 1/2-3/4" headspace above that 12oz mark. The lid is easy on and easy off.... no struggling. I bought this last night, delivered this morning, and was so pleased I went back tonight to order another... but they have raised the sale price. Sorely disappointed, but hopefully it will go back down soon. 100% recommend!

This mug is the perfect size for my morning routine, fitting neatly under my home brewer and feeling comfortable to hold. The insulation is fantastic; it keeps my coffee steaming hot for hours, which means I can actually enjoy it hot even when I get distracted. The lid is what sets it apart, though—it is truly leak resistant, and while I wouldn't throw it upside down in a backpack, it handles jostling in the car perfectly without any accidental spills. The Trillium Pink color is vibrant and cheerful, and the stainless steel is easy to clean and doesn't hold onto old coffee smells. It is durable, stylish, and exactly what I needed for a reliable daily travel mug.

This is a nice mug and keeps my coffee hot for hours. However, the lip of the mug with the top on causes the coffee to drip. If I try to slurp the coffee, it's a bit too hot. Since I've used the mug, I probably cannot return it. So, buyer, beware. I think another person mentions this issue.

Great purchase, keeps hot and cold for extended trips in the garden. Just what I needed, no more floating debris in my cup and still hot as if I’ve just made it, and the size is just about right for a generous size mug, that was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely buy again.
