Yes and No
The optics are pretty good and it really does the job as a beginner. However, I couldn’t connect it to an iPad or a Laptop as it comes with a CD for the software, and I don’t have a single device that runs a CD! It really impacted my overall experience because now I have to use my phone (physically attach it to the eye-piece) to take photos only. Taking videos that way is not very ideal.Another flaw is that the stage is slightly tilted, so my images are coming out im focus on one aide of the photo and a bit out of focus on the other side.

Electronic eye piece was missing.Remaining functionality seems to be ok.Good for kids from education and exploration perspective.
