Typing feels smooth and effortless, which reduces strain during long work sessions. I use it with Windows without issues, and the Logi Bolt connection has been stable and secure throughout. A few drawbacks: there’s no backlighting, so it's not ideal for late-night work. It’s also battery-powered (AA), which isn't a dealbreaker thanks to the long battery life, but I’d prefer rechargeable. Finally, while Logi Bolt is great for stability, it does mean you need a USB port for the dongle unless you're using Bluetooth—something to consider for laptop users with limited ports. I have owned many Logitech products since the later 80's. They make entry level or loss leader types of products as well as top end equipment. About 3 years ago I purchased a high end Dell with the included mouse and keyboard. Lately several of the keys do not respond well. The keyboard overall was adequate. I am a touch typist and can type between 50 - 60 wpm. These modern plastic keyboards do not have the 'feel' of a typewriter. I want to make a point here. This new Logitech keyboard has a 'light' touch. It allows me to type quickly and with way less effort than the Dell keyboard. The action of the keys is similar to the old IBM Selectric. It is not as robust and probably will not last 30 years without any maintenance. But for the $80 cost (including the laser mouse) it is pretty good. This is the second day I have used it and I can already notice that my fingers are adapting to their assigned positions. One of the hallmarks of a comfortable keyboard is the light action which will allow you to type for hours without any ill effects. I like this board and the mouse. It took me a while to find the magic formula to connect the Bluetooth mouse with my Windows 11 Dell XPS. Finally everything fell into place and I am not going to look back. 3/15/24 Additional Comments - I find myself actually becoming a better typist using this keyboard. It is very comfortable and this quality is something I have missed by using the keyboards they send with the computers or that corporations (read cheap) feel is all that is necessary. If you are serious (read more than two fingers) this will make you faster and more accurate which makes you more productive. There is one additional feature that contributes to comfort. That is the wrist rest that is built into the keyboard. It is 2" wide and provides support when you need it. I am going to keep the old keyboard for a backup or to give to someone I don't like (just a joke). RE: mouse - I had a wireless mouse for about three years when it finally died. I liked the fact that I didn't have to drag the cord around. This new mouse is small but has all the features I want. I don't miss the good old days when we had to use a mouse pad. I use AutoDesk's ACAD. This mouse has all the features I need to use the program. The cursor is accurate. The touch is light and my arthritic thumb thanks me. Thank you Logitech. Good product. Never going back to a $19 keyboard. Lesson learned - buy the best keyboard you can afford. It is the key to using a computer comfortably.

I don't normally give reviews, but this product was honestly worth my time in the case it may help someone else... I am currently starting my new career as a legal transcriptionist and typing thousand of pages a month on my laptop keyboard was not not ergonomic and slowing me down. I researched all of Logitech's keyboard options\ and decided on this one. It was important to me that function keys could be used as primaries (without having to press the function key) as I use them hundreds of times a day in my transcript creation and this keyboard has the feature of setting functions keys as primary shortcuts or primary function keys. It's super easy to toggle back and forth between features with just two key presses. I put a sticky note on the back of the keyboard with the shortcut, so I won't forget it in the future. Also, my USB dongle was floating around in the box, instead of placed inside the secure compartment in the back of the keyboard. I only got lucky and saw it on the floor one day, otherwise it would have been lost so beware when you unbox. On to my review... The Pros: soft, rounded corner keys that feel like pressing clouds and relatively quiet. Is it the quietest keyboard on the market? Probably not. But it's not clunky-sounding and doesn't wake my family when I'm working well into the midnight hours. Connectivity was super easy and had no hang ups. Connects via USB or Bluetooth, which is great because with all my transcription gear, I have no USB space left on my current computer. I've had no issues with lag or it keeping up with key presses and I type fast! There is an LED indicator light on the CAPS LOCK key. All of the shortcut keys are extremely useful, especially the screenshot, as well as the media keys at the top, and there is a dedicated lock key if you work in an office setting where you need to lock your computer if you step away. Even though this keyboard isn't advertised as portable in size, it isn't so large or heavy that it wouldn't fit in a larger size bag to carry with you somewhere or from room to room. I keep mine in a basket beneath my desk when not in use and I love that feature. It's also got a built-in plastic wrist rest that I cannot live without, although some may find that a con as you can not use your own padded or softer version. There are two incline levels, as well as flat, and all three options use premium rubber feet so you've got good traction and shouldn't scar or scratch any surface you place it on. Cons: This keyboard is not backlit. I am worried the white color will likely stain over time and lose it's aesthetics. USB dongle was not packed inside the secure battery storage compartment. No instruction manual - an illustration of the shortcuts and their meanings would have been super useful as well as the primary function key feature switch shortcut. Had it not been for other reviews, I would not have known about this feature and I had look it up on my own from the Logitech website. I cannot get the media controls to control my media when I'm using mini-player mode (ExpressScribe). I'm hoping with some research this may be remedied. Would be better if: It was backlit. Include some instructions-short, sweet and simple would do the trick. Maybe have a manual switch for the primary function key feature. For me personally, the keys could have a little more spacing between them, but this of course would sacrifice space and portability. What I can't speak on... I haven't typed for hours on this yet, so I can't speak to it's durability or battery life. I also have not tried using this with more than one device, so I cannot speak to that either. For my career needs, I can't see finding a better keyboard in this price range and I will likely order a second one in the near future to have as a backup.

I love this thing! For the longest time I've needed to replace my old K800, which has been my favorite keyboard of the last 10+ years. It is now discontinued, and there's only a few left out there being hustled for hundreds of dollars. No thanks. I picked up the K650 after seeing a near identical size and layout to the K800 and have been pleasantly surprised at all the similarities between the two. Size-wise, it's pretty much an exact clone. Form-factor is basically the same. Same shape, ergonomics, nice wrist rest and the soft, relatively quiet keys I've been used to. No backlit illuminated keys, but honestly I never really needed them on the K800, as I rarely ever typed in the dark or a dimly lit room. I can imagine this omission will only increase battery life on the 650 by comparison. Only cons at this point are the way a few of the buttons have been messed with. I feel like a few too many functions (not-so-handy shortcuts for both macOS and Windows) have been stacked on certain ones which has caused me to slightly modify some of my old K800 typing habits. Also, I'm not crazy about them moving the power switch from the top of the keyboard to the right side, but it's no biggie. I'll adjust. There's also no USB charging port for rechargeable batteries. But, as I mentioned earlier, with no backlight feature, there might not be a need for it. Battery life for this one is projected to be quite good, plus batteries also come with it, so no complaints. This $50 wireless keyboard is a nice replacement for an old favorite that I refuse to shell out scalper cash for. Now, if I can just find a satisfactory stand-in for the Logitech Performance MX mouse I'd be all set. Recommend!

I'm using this with a Dell XPS 13. My previous keyboard/mouse combo only had the nano USB receiver (which is also an option with this combo), but I had occasional lag issues. I decided to get the MK650 and try it with Bluetooth. I think it's a little expensive for what you get, but it's been worth it. It connects instantly and the connection is stable, plus it frees up a USB port on my hub. I have had zero issues with lag, drops, or interference, even with other Bluetooth devices connected such as earbuds or speakers. Keyboard: I'm used to chiclet style keys, but this is fine. I would prefer it without the palm rest to make it more compact, but it is comfortable. I like the multiple leg options to set the angle. I also like the built-in media and volume control keys above the main keys. They are a requirement for me so I don't have to hit Fn whenever I want to pause or change volume. That said, I am finding several of the function keys to be very useful. Being able to bring up settings, quick print, or calculator with a single keystroke is quite efficient. My only real complaint is the lack of a light to indicate NumLock for the numeric keypad. It's a minor issue, since I have it on nearly 100% of the time, but an indicator to be sure would be nice. There is one for CapsLock, so the lack for NumLock seems odd. Mouse: It's a nice, smooth mouse. The wheel is better than many others I have used. The inclusion of two side buttons is nice. By default, they go forward and backward through webpages or other apps. I'm sure they can be customized using Logitech apps, but they're fine for me as they are. The button clicks are very quiet and actually took me a little while to get used to. I was so used to louder clicks that I wasn't sure at first if I had missed a click. But after a couple of days it was natural and I love the quiet. Overall, it's a good combo. A little more expensive than ones that only have the USB receiver, but it's definitely worth the price for my usage. Connection is solid and there are lots of little features that are convenient and useful.

I’ve always bought this brand and I can’t say how much I love this keyboard and mouse. The mouse is smooth and quiet and so is the keyboard! The best ever made in this brand buy it you won’t regret it hands-down

Keyboard constantly puts itself in sleep mode while in use. You need to hit a button to wake it up before it responds. This can be very disruptive during game play. The keyboard is also uneven. Without extending the footpads it does not sit evenly on a desk. Logitech is a far cry from their quality of old. I only bought this because it was an affordable option when looking for a wireless keyboard, but I regret this purchase.

This keyboard has made my workdays noticeably more comfortable. The keys are softly cushioned and quiet, and the built-in wrist rest is a game changer for long typing sessions. Setup was quick and easy with Bluetooth, and it works seamlessly across devices. I really like the layout with having the full numpad, especially for work tasks.
