Hefty Ultra Strong 30 Gal Large Trash Bags, Black, Unscented, 25ct

I chose these because I appreciate the Hefty brand, and they're a far better value than what I can find at my local stores. This is the first time I've used scented trash bags. The lavender scent smells very nice when I put the bag in a fresh, empty can. It's not obnoxiously heavy, and it doesn't smell like a low-quality deodorizer. The scent doesn't seem to last very long, but it still does a good job of masking the strong trash odors that were bugging me before I tried them. I used these in my larger kitchen garage bins and they fit perfectly without slipping. I've used them for everything from heavy food scraps to random clutter to outside cleanup, and they adapt to whatever I throw inside, making them especially versatile. When I lift the bag, the drawstring stays secure without snapping and holds the full weight. These are honestly the best trash bags I've used. They handle a lot of weight and bulky trash without tearing. Best of all, they don't rip apart when I'm trying to pull a full bag out of the can.

That alone says a lot—if something doesn’t work, I’m not buying it again! These bags are strong and dependable. I’ve put some very heavy items in them, and they hold up without breaking. They fit my trash container well, and the odor control is especially important to me because I’m extremely sensitive to smells. These bags do an excellent job of keeping unpleasant odors contained. The Fabuloso lavender scent took me a little time to get used to, even though I like lavender, but now I appreciate how it helps with odor control. I tried these once and was sold. They do exactly what I need them to do: **hold heavy loads, contain odors, and stay strong.** I haven’t changed brands since!

“TIES” are thinner than they used to be but if you’re gentle they work ok. We tend to “dummy tie” when getting close to ful to reduce odor bc we live in country with plenty of bugs and critters that we don’t want to attract; this is harder on ties than just using them one time for final tie up. Thickness of bags are still better than generics, no tears. I like that they are black; I don’t like trash showing. 30 gallon capacity so we put in a large kitchen Tarascan and also large bathroom trash can. They are sturdy enough not to break with used air filters from hvac which are partly metal and non recycled in our area. Not uncommon for one bag to weigh around 15# or same weight as 2 gallons of tea by time we tie it up for good; so far no breakage. We get the unscented bc of allergies. Mistakingly got scented once and if wondering yes the scent lasts the week withe the trash in it but we prefer non scented. We like the expandability of the bags being more flexible. The ties are much easier than those crazy flaps of some bags. Now mind you we always carry from top of bags not just the ties. If super heavy hold from underneath. They will hold 15 or 20 pounds suspended from ties for days if necessary. Value for the quality and easy to fit down in smaller trash cans too. Hold from top and ties to “shake down” contents to gain more space capacity or when ready to tie up. Easy to remove from cans. Waterproof and sweat proof.

Great value strong and nice smelling for your garbage.

I really like these bags. They are tough. They can withstand extra trash. The scent keeps the odors down from the different types of foods temporarily exposed in the can. They are good laundry bags also.

I used to always buy the box of NoName brand garbage bags. I tried these and Wow! I'm impressed. I didn't expect them to actually be thicker, but they are and have the ForceFlex type ribs. And they come in a convenient roll but you don't have to tear anything off as they are individual around the roll. They had a slight scent that I was concerned about (I'm sensitive to scents), but that seems to have dissipated after them being out of the box a while. There's no mention of a fragrance on the box.
