Very nice unit - EXCEPTIONALLY quiet!
The media could not be loaded. I'm still not really sure what the technical differences are between the regular version and the "Diamante Ultra" but the Pioneer store says this is the newest version that was just recently released (purchased July 2022), so I got this one despite the lack of customer reviews for this specific model. The installation is quite a project, it took me almost a day and a half - but admittedly I was going slow and double-checking everything, every step of the way. Just coincidentally, the copper piping for the coolant was EXACTLY the length that I needed, one foot less and it would have been too short to reach the outdoor unit.I did get both the "Decorative PVC Slim Line Cover Kit" and the "KWIK-E-VAC Line Set Flushing Kit" ... and both turned out to be excellent add-ons. The PVC cover kit looks great (see pictures), and the Flushing kit was very easy to use for prepping the copper pipes - there's a QR code inside the box with a link to a YouTube video, I followed the instructions step by step and didn't have any problems at all (the alternative to the KWIK-E-VAC is to buy a $100 vacuum pump.)The unit is VERY quiet, especially the inside blower. The AC performance is excellent and cools the room down very quickly. I tested the heat function just to make sure hot air comes out, but won't have an opportunity to run it till winter.Any downsides? Nothing major. There are different versions of the mounting bracket that secures the inside unit to the wall - so the instructions did not have this exact configuration, which was a little confusing. And once I got to the point where I needed to attach the unit to the wall, I found out that I needed to ream out the hole where the pipes go through in order to get the pipe bundle at the right angle - otherwise the system wouldn't mount flat against the wall.Overall, the installation instructions were well written, thorough, and easy to follow, with only a few minor points that could have used a little more detail.Of course, I can't speak to the reliability yet - but it's running fine and seems to be well built. I will certainly post an update if I have any problems as we get more hours on it!

Install went well - works great
I purchased 2 of these units to replace older Samsung units of similar size that had given up the ghost. I got quotes from several HVAC installers, and they were very expensive. I figured I could buy this unit + tools + the vac pump and still be in for 1/3 of my lowest quote. The install went very well. I had some trouble with the lines kinking due to the way the prior unit was installed, I decided to use a spring tubing bender, which required me to re-flare the ends on the line set. It took about 4 hours each to install, but since it was replacing a unit some of the work (electrical, outside unit mount) was already done. It has been installed for ~ 4 months and I am very pleased with the performance over the winter. The only (kinda nitpicky) thing I have to complain about is that it has a tiny squeak in the sweep vanes when sweep is turned on. The app works great as long as you don't forget to install the wifi adapter, its instructions are in a different book than the rest of the instructions.

Quiet and powerful system
This review is for the 220V 18000btu Diamante Ultra system. I just finished the installation so long term reliability and efficiency are not known. The install was not easy due to the need to run the lines around sharp bends and corners. [But, very much worth doing.] The system is very quiet and cools the room thoroughly in a very short time. Once the set temperature is reached, the system is nearly silent. Even the outside unit is quiet. The remote is easy to use and setting the various functions is easy. The unit comes with nearly everything I needed to install. I did need to cut and braze elbows in the 1/2" line in 3 places because of tight turns that were necessary for keeping the routing neat. The electrical supply is also not included. only the wires that connect the indoor/outdoor units comes in the kit. I also used a vacuum pump and gauges to leak-check and finish the line install. Overall, I would recommend this system highly.

Works very well once you get it installed.
This unit works very well. The contols are great and the unit cools very efficiently and is very quiet. I only ding them one star because the installation is a beast.

Diamanté mini-split
Finished installation today. Works great! Home-owner can install this unit if they can run a dedicated circuit and if they can pull a vacuum on the lines and interior unit. The vacuum would be applied with a HVAC vacuum unit attached to the service port on the three way port on the outside condenser unit.A local HVAC company gave a quote of $6700 to install a Mitsubishi 24000 btu unit like this system. Outrageous if you have the above capabilities or know someone who does. All in, including a line hide kit, I spent about $2100. Works great.I put this unit in a metal building that is black and white with a black roof. The building is 30 x 80 feet. There is a 20 x 30 feet “living space” that is well insulated with sheet rock walls where the unit was installed. The ambient temperature today was 88 degrees. I live in Alabama. Within 30 minutes it had cooled down and dehumidified the room where it was 78 degrees and a little cool.I went with this system because my 90 year father in law bought a 12000 btu system for his kitchen in his house outside Atlanta. There was a problem. The unit gave a code and this company decided there was a fault in the outside unit. They sent a replacement with minimal questions. That was the bottom line for me. He had great service.

Unit is great, but watch out for the seller
Don't buy from Jacks Small Engines. I bought 2 units on the same listing from 2 different sellers. The first seller had the unit at my door in 5 days, shipping with ups ground. The other seller, Jacks Small Engines, took days to ship it with a freight company. It took over 3 weeks for that unit to be delivered from the time I placed the order. The unit itself is great though. Efficient, powerful cooling, not too loud, and fairly easy to install if you have the right tools. Happy I bought 2 of these, and I'd buy them again.
