But he was a bit long with directions and my eyes glazed over with directions that he took no time to explain so that when I did get lost I stayed lost a diagram or two would have helped to understand what he was trying to explain I am sure i will understand it once I read it two or three more times

Shorter than I expected but clear and to the point. Gets a hard to follow in the middle but just take your time to fully absorb the info. Very good read. highly recommend.

I enjoyed reading the book. With a background in construction it was easy to visualize and follow the build. I would suggest some drawings to complement the great photos would help those who have never built something. I hate to say it but spell check would be a great idea. Makes me want to go build my dream cabin.

I very thought out book with a lot of great information. The pictures where helpful, but you did have to thumb to the back of the book to find them. Overall a great add to my collection of building off the grid books for my future home

Good job on this. The only issue I have is that it should have some pictures of how some of the work is done. That would have made this quite a bit stronger. Good read otherwise.

Great read, you can tell the author is actually experienced in what he's writing about and gives great insight, unlike most who just repeat what they've heard from others!

This was my first book about building a cabin so I had a lack of knowledge for some of the explanations. Overall this is fairly detailed and has some photographic aid to understanding the process.

Poche immagini di scarsa qualità e di nessuna utilità tecnica esplicativa su come si costruisca una casa di legno.Compratevelo solo se volete farvi un piccola lettura su come una famiglia abbia costruito la sua casa, come fosse un romanzo, altrimenti la delusione sarà grande.
